day 6 was the most enjoyable day of the entire trip.
we had great fun, great shopping, great food and great hotel that day.

i woke up super early in the morning wanting to catch the sunrise since we were at such a beautiful place.
but it was drizzling that morning.
how disappointing is that?

oh well.
since i was like all dressed up and ready, i left my bro sleeping in the room and wandered around the area to take some photos.








the sian plus tired look.
haha.
the exact same position he was in for an hour the previous night while using the free wifi at the lobby.



on our way to Glacier 3000.




we were all so freaking excited alright!
by we, i meant all of us in the group.

we had to take the cable car up to the snow mountain.
the scenery was OH MY GOD.
i think we probably took like over 3000 photos.
okay, i was exaggerating.




















in case you're wondering why there aren't photos of my parents,
here's why.

we could climb further up the mountain which was pretty high up.
and bai baba actually dumped us and started the ascend himself.
in the meantime, ma wasn't willing to climb at all because she's damn afraid of heights.

when my bro and i were halfway up the mountain,
bai baba was already coming down and told us that the view up there was fantastic.
hence, there were only photos of my bro and i up in the mountain.

once we were done with taking photos up there,
we took the 'mini' cable car down mid mountain to have some fun in the snow.
i've got no idea what's the proper name for the activity.
all you have to do is to sit on the board and slide down.







there they were having fun with it.
my hero is in red and if you can even spot ma waving somewhere in the picture.








i love this photo because it's so blurry that you can not even see what my facial expression was.
at least the 'pose' was nice.

i actually gave the 'activity' a go once only.
going down slope was woo hoo~~~~!
but the climb up slope literally killed me man.
as i was coming up hill, i decided that it wasn't worthwhile going for one more round.

but guess what?

my bro decided that he wanted to do it once more and this time round, he was going to lie down on the board instead of sitting on it.
and i cleverly and happily volunteered to take photos of him doing that at the bottom of the slope.

then, i started my descend downhill on foot.
i must have been mad.
the coldness must have gotten into my brain.

why the hell did i even volunteer to do so?
and why the hell did i even walk down instead of sliding down?

damn it.
i declare i was really mad stupid.

by the time i finally reached the bottom,
i was so damn exhausted and irritated.

mind you, the hill really isn't that steep, it just takes a hell lot of effort because you'll keep getting stuck in the snow.
the snow was so soft that either one of my feet kept getting stuck in it.
then i had to gather all my energy just to pull my foot out of the snow only to find that my shoes and ankle socks were deep in the snow.
so, i had to start digging for them.

alright.
i finally found them and put them on.
take another two steps, i find myself repeating the whole process again.

i literally gave up and sat down in the snow.
i didn't care if my pants were getting wet and my butt was getting frozen.
i was so god damn tired!!!!!










because i went through so much just to capture my bro sliding down the slope on his stomach,
i'm going to post all the four photos i took.
who cares if they are blurry or of sub standard!

after taking the photos,
it was time to go up slope again.

oh my god.
i really wondered why i didn't break down in tears there and then man.



see what footwear we were wearing up on a snow mountain.
loafers and toms with ankle socks.
i was still feeling alright, my bro was just like freezing or something.

and hello?
mine got stuck barefooted a couple of times in the snow for that few seconds before i pulled them out man.

this just goes to show how much i love my bro.
to go through all those hardships just to take nice photos for him.
but they are turned out to be pretty crappy.

oh my.

this has got to be one of my favourite photos of the trip.




i was so looking forward to taking this roller coaster.
but too bad it was closed due to the weather.
while i was going 'huh......', my bro was like 'heng man!'
he would have been forced to take the ride with it if it was opened.


















because we had some time to spare once we reached the bottom of the mountain,
i asked my bro if we should practise taking jump shots.
afterall, he may want to take some over at some famous places of attractions later on.










the last one is my favourite of the lot.
simply because it looks so hilarious.

the rest of the day was spent at Interlaken.












once we reached Interlaken, we chionged for the supermarket.
Giotto was our target and we bought a whole basket of them alright.
i'm pretty sure our group swept off all those on the racks.
this was all thanks to james who highly recommended it.

i think they are pretty nice,
but i still prefer my ferrero rocher.

if you're curious about it,
i heard that it's available in candy empire.

after lunch, we checked into our hotel which was apparently the best in Interlaken.
it seriously is the best hotel for the entire trip.
photos of it and our rooms will be at the end of this post.

shopping was next.
my bro was the most excited because he could finally buy his watch.
you know, watches aren't my forte.
bags are.

the four of us ended up getting watches.
only my bro's purchase was a planned one.
i literally bought for the sake of buying a swiss made watch.



a little digression.
james was at the rolex boutique when he came across this old chinese man who should be from china.
he pointed out five watches in the showcase and the SA thought he wanted them.

but, he went '不是.. 这五只我不要! 其他的帮我包起来!'
excuse me, there must have been at the very least 40 watches in that showcase.
and he paid in cash.

wow.

anyhow.
dinner was at Bebbis where we had our swiss fondue dinner.
cheese fondue for starters, meat fondue for mains and chocolate fondue for desserts.
that's a whole lot of fondue huh?



the man in that cow prints pants is Bebbi himself and he's really entertaining.
i guess his restaurant is really about happiness, fun and food.
perhaps you can try this place out if you're in Interlaken.

i've never tried a meat fondue before prior to this.
basically you just have to put the meat into a pot of oil and wait for it to cook.
surprisingly, the meat didn't turn out to be that oily.
it was really pretty good.






dinner made us feeling really satisfied and happy that day.

after dinner, a group of us went to the small casino near our hotel.
of course, we took some photos on our way to the casino.
























i must say, my family had got no luck at the casino.
especially my bro..
he had got one of the lousiest beginner's luck.
hahaha!




the hotel we stayed in Interlaken: Victoria Jungfrau













the room was very huge and spacious.
it had a super duper big closet too with tons of hangers.
you may find this weird,
but my bro and i were really fascinated and happy with the number of hangers we had in the closet.

oh yes.
and it's the ONLY hotel we stayed in Europe that provided us with bedroom slippers.
we literally treated them like treasure and brought them along for the rest of the trip.

there was even an umbrella right by the door which you can use on rainy days.
how thoughtful right?

the only annoying thing is the morning call.
the norm is that you just have to pick up the phone when it rings in the morning and it's just by your bedside.

the next day when we had our morning call,
we were like how the hell were we supposed to end the ringing?
it turned out it wasn't the phone.
it was the tv which was so damn far from the bed.

yeap.
that concludes the most exciting day of my Europe trip.
