so.. i think i'm getting a little "deprived".

somehow or other, i got myself interested in an upcoming chanel soho collection which would only be launched at taka, paragon and marina bay sands.

so.. i called up the counter at paragon and surprisingly reservation is allowed.
woo hoo!
and i reserved a face highlighter/ blusher.

the SA kindly asked if i wanted to reserve other stuff from the collections which were nail lacquers, lipgloss, lipstick and eye shadow palette.
for a moment, i felt like telling her to reserve one of each item for me because i couldn't make up my mind over the phone.

haha.

anyhow, i'm going down this friday morning to collect that and also to check out mac venomous villians collection which is to be launched on that day as well.

for now, i've got just one item on the list - bite of an apple blush.
the rest, i've got to see/swatch them in person before i can decide if i want them.

yesterday we had a family gathering because we had some sort of ritual to do again.
that's with bai baba's side of relatives fyi.
it's like we hardly meet up and stuff.

we were all told that yesterday ritual was very important and we were supposed to be dressed like we would during cny.

anyway, there was this funny part whereby the priest informed us that he was going to 洒钱 and everyone got so damn excited over that.

he was throwing in all sorts of directions.

after that, he asked qiqi the same question and she also had 3.

the conclusion is i had 60 cents because bai baba gave me another 2 coins.
and bai baba says that it's good if we spend the money.
you know.. just like it would bring you luck if you spend the money you found on the floor.

so.. i was thinking..
maybe i buy 4d with 60 cents?

ma totally thought that my idea rocks and wanted to pool all the coins we got to buy 4d.

they were distributing my late grandmother's jewelery and god knows how my bro actually managed to get a ring.
and he gave it to me??



it's nothing valuable in terms of money and nothing fanciful or pretty.

that's my late grandmother's stuff.

it's actually a horse on the ring.

anyway, i was like showing it off to my other cousins who didn't get any jewelery.
and told qiqi that i would wear to her wedding this nov.

my uncle was telling my another cousin that we ought to treasure these jewelery we get.

so, one the highlight of the kl trip had to be visiting a laura mercier counter to 扫货!
duh??!






actually, laura mercier isn't well known for their eye shadows,
more of their 底妆 especially their tinted moisturizer.

the SA, tiffany, whom pet and i met on the first day was very 主动 and i love her service!
she's those very 亲切 kind of SA.
so when debbie wanted to get a laura foundation, i asked her to go back pavilion to buy from tiffany.

anyhow.
tiffany even went to the extent of trying two different shades of foundation on deb to sort of let us decide which shade suits her better.

what's more, she even gave deb a somewhat full makeover!
she even did deb brows for her?
mind you, we didn't even request for those.

the last time i was in kl with pet, deb and mark,
i made it a point of using different colours for blushers for the three days.




day 1: cotton pink, using mac azelea blossom




day 2: coral, can't remember what i used.
but i've got the feeling that it could be mac hipness.




day 3: nude, using ysl coral sand.
i can't exactly explain why i go for nude.
but it just looks pretty, to me.

for now, i still mainly go for corals.
that explains the endless numbers of corals in the stash.

and pink is usually the last colour that would come into mind.
don't tend to pick them up now.

this is no doubt my favouritest liner in my stash.

1. it's very easy to draw and you can get a thin, winged line with this.
actually im quite used to lining my eyes with liners, be it pencils, gels or liquid.
so.. perhaps this point may not apply to some?

2. it's smudge- proof and yet super easy to remove.
usually i just remove it together with the rest of the makeup using my shu cleansing oil.
so the point is i don't need a separate eye makeup remover.

3. it's from drugstore!
i got my first one from sasa in hk and it was only 59hkd?

just replenished one from watsons at $18.90 because i think my current one would be running out soon.
don't want to be got caught off guard!

mad cheap again.
but can't remember how much exactly.

anyway.
it's my favouritest toner of all i've tried so far.

it really lives up to its slogan 'one drop locks an ocean'!

there are days when im just too tired to want to go through all the cleanse, tone, eye cream, blah blah steps.
so i just cleanse and slap this on and head to sleep.

the thing is...
you wouldn't find your skin very drying after sleeping in air con room for the night!
and that's all you slap on??

love love love this.

my personal habit now is to use about 4-6 drops for my entire face and neck.
so that's 4-6 oceans locked!

sort of addicted to this and i 索性 got the biggest bottle which is limited edition (250ml).

mmm..
alright.
i don't exactly find it to be giving me significant results after finishing a 75ml one.

but.
my habit is, i pour it onto cotton pad and start dabbing over my face and neck.
after im done with that, i use whatever that's left on my hands, elbows and knees.

now.
here's the miracle part.

i've been having some unknown bumps on my elbows since this year, i think.
they aren't itchy.
just make my elbows feel rough.

so after applying skII over my elbows faithfully for over a month or so,
the bumps are more or less gone.
and my elbows are alot smoother than before!

神奇吧?!

that's the main purpose of investing in a huge bottle.
i suppose things don't happen overnight and i just have to religiously apply them and hopefully i can see the results in the years to come.

so we went for manicure at this de'unique nail parlour at jusco.
this was our second time there and i must say this time was better than the previous!

anyhow, this time we tried classic french manicure and it was so chio!

bacca's friends came along as well.

so september first was teachers' day,
and i made this for mrs ang.
very simple, but not too bad right?



went to the comex fair on friday with winnie.
we initially wanted to go on saturday.
thank god we didn't.
the crowd on friday was of enough madness for us.
got stuff like hard disk, iphone accessories and blah.

after suntec, we went over to marina square and orchard.
damn crap.
because of our electronic stuff, every store with that anti theft system we went to was bound to beep.
got so pissed off that we decided not to enter any store with that system.

despite that, we still managed to get some shopping done.
stay on and you will see the stuff i had gotten that day and today.

for dinner, we settled for skinny pizza at wheelock place.
we were very curious about the fries on the menu.
it's like.. cmon, it's just fries..
but why were like at least 50% of the diners having them?
so, we ordered it.



god damn it was nice!
like OH MY GOD tasting!
you will never imagine fries to be THIS nice.

apparently it's cooked using this truffle oil.
so 奢侈 huh??
and i bet it's the truffle oil that makes the whole lot of difference.

trust me.
the fries are a 必点!
have a sip of apple cider followed by fries.
the fries just ba-bombed in my mouth!
hahahaha.

that unique taste is just way beyond words.

the squid ink pizza was fab too.
but again, i emphasized that the fries were just way too amazing.

remember the limited edition grey one i got from hk?
it's actually spoilt.

i'm not going to go into details because this is just so upsetting especially when i honestly LOVE that bag.

i way way way love it more than my neverfull.

anyhow, i sent it for repair and it turned out that it was probably a 疵货 i got.
so, longchamp gave me a credit note for me to get a new bag.
and i chose one in the exact same size, but in a classic colour this time- graphite.
to me, it's a teal greyish colour.

not exactly super satisfied.
but... nothing can be done.

fyi: this incident isn't actually going to stop me from buying longchamp anymore.
i'm waiting for the s/s 2011 colours to be launched.
the f/w 2010 colours are just so bleah.

i tried out the marked with glamour on friday and it was fab!
it's one of the top 2 eyeliners i own that smudges the least on me!
[i probably have like at least 15 liners in my stash.]

decided to go back tangs to get signature blue because i thought it was limited edition.
but damn.
mac is making this superslick eye liner a permanent.
so no hurry if you're interested in getting them.

one thing to note,
removing this is god damn crap.

it doesn't melt away with eye makeup remover.
instead, it flakes.
you end up having bits of dried up liner all over your place when you remove it.
combined with mascara, you're in for a great time.

this album should come with a vol. 7,
but instead we were given vol. 6 which we already have when we purchased the previous album.

the thing was when i called mj about this,
they told me that they didn't have vol. 7,
ie. there wasn't such a freebie.

so i thought winnie was wrong about the magazine thing.
but when i came back home and checked..
indeed there is this vol. 7!

wth.
