here's a new product i got yesterday:
shiseido white lucent brightening skincare powder.
basically, it's a powder which you apply at the end of your skincare routine, be it day or night.
but for me, i would use it for night time only because i would usually be using tinted moisturizer in the day.
oh yes.
you've got to be clear.
this is a SKINCARE powder, not a pressed powder.
SOLELY skincare.
first impression:
i like how it leaves my face soft and "powdery".
that's about all i can say since i've only used it once.
and of course, the whitening part has to be reviewed after a month perhaps.
the reason why i put this up after a single usage is because this product is very limited in quantities and yes, limited edition.
it was launched on white day which was yesterday.
for me, it's 'grab it while it's still available' mentality.
i rather be stuck with a mediocre product than to miss a fabulous one.
that's for me.

nails: OPI Did You 'ear About Van Gogh
went for a manicure cum pedicure session today.
i only had my fingernails painted because i... just felt like leaving my toe nails naked.
just needed all the dead skin and cuticles to be taken care of.
anyhow, i texted pet and told her that i actually bothered to go get some grooming done before i meet her tmr for shopping.
haha!

i've been so damn busy with work recently.
weekdays are just crazy with work, work, work and more work.
usually by the time i reached the weekends,
i'll be too tired to want to go out.
furthermore, the thought of expensive parking in town just puts me off.
BUT.
i was like literally itching to go to town for some shopping.
so off we went one sunday.
mid day booster: coffee!
i didn't have starbucks, instead i had kayun.
that's my way preferred choice now.
talking about coffee.
omg.
i'm finding myself addicted to it.
i have to have a cup on days when i know my day will be a long one.
if not, i would be long dead before night falls.
it's been ages since we went out shopping together.
oh guess what?
that sunday we were shopping for the entire day.
and the next day, i literally felt like dying.
it must be that i've not shopped for such long hours for quite some time.
because the next sunday, i was out shopping the entire day, but i felt nothing on the monday that came after.
next up is a haul i got from
beautybay.com.
it's offering free international shipping for a limited period of time now.
the shipping took slightly over a week.
i've since ordered twice and my second order should be arriving next week.

i've been wanting to try this for ages after not being able to get hold of my beloved morroccan oil online.
honestly, my craze for argan oil for hair is madness.
i actually have five different brands of it.
and i've only tried two so far.

i like everything about it except for its scent.
it's too fruitty which i find weird on hair.

but the shade didn't match up to my expectations.
it's not the kind of nude i was looking for.

i bought this for fun after seeing a beauty youtuber raving about this.
and it turned out that i really like this.
the shimmers are multicoloured and mad pretty.
the base colour is like a purplish taupe.
since this turned out to be so pretty,
i've ordered a nude brown one in the same collection for my second order.
just these four items set me back to slightly over 50 pounds.
the amount i'm spending on beauty products is madness.
for now, i've got two beauty items which i'm interested in.
shall check them out when i go shopping on wednesday!
