guess what?

we both fell aslp at different parts of the movie.
not that it was boring or not nice..
we were just too tired.

i finally bought the hello kitty luggage tag which i wanted so much!
found one that wears a pink ribbon instead of pink flower..
so.. couldn't resist anymore.

another thing was that for once i didn't buy a single item from tangs when it's having the 12% rebate sales.

was out in town with 阿姨 and winnie.
got to settle her prom night stuff you see..

it was really hell.

we were quite sway because we checked like a few departmental stores before getting hold of the clutch that she wanted.
and the shoes we chose are forever either not her size or the last pair.

阿姨 treated winnie, my bro and i to sakura near ah ma's place today.
it sucks to the max.

i think sakura is like...
totally not worth the money!

i think i saw pris tan there this afternoon.

i brought kam kam to ah ma' place todayso that she could the stupid hole in it for me.
and she did it very nicely for me...

i'm so surprised when agnes msned me and asked if i wanted to go for this 'The Philharmonic Winds in Concert'.
very interested.. but i wouldn't be free to go on that day.

but i found another concert which sounds pretty interesting too.

i admit that i've never heard of this guy before...

i've heard of the piano that he's going to perform on before!
one of the top most famous pianos around- Bösendorfer!!

i'm sleeping before midnight 80% of the time now.
quite customed to that..
so when it comes to ard 11pm, i'm already quite sleepy.

that day bai baba, for god knows what reason, asked why i was going to bed so early that night.
it was as though he didn't realise my sleeping habits recently.

eventually, we bought every other thing except the gown.
becca came to join us for dinner after she finished work.
by then, winnie and my bro were already dying from all the walking.

lastly, gui tei dio finally got delivered to ah ma hse yesterday.
he was supposed to come like a week before,
but he had a fever after a jab.

so they were like worried that he's dumb.

let me start ranting first.

老娘went into the face shop on sat to get sheet masks for myself.
and i was approached by not one but TWO SA.

the first one came forward and asked me if i needed her help.
i told her that it was okay and thanks.

so she siamed aside.
and after a while..
she came again and asked what type of masks i was looking for.
so i said masks with hydrating effects.

then she pointed to this and that.
and eventually asked "why don't you buy this mask bundle that we have?"

again, i said it was okay and thanks.
i supposed after that she went off to find other "targets".

barely a minute later, SA number 2 came and asked if i bloody needed help AGAIN.
i gave her a firm no.
but apparently, she couldn't take no for an answer.

she started bombarding me with lots of rubbish.
initially i still tried to be nice and repeated "it's okay. thank u" for N times.

when she saw me choosing different masks,
she started saying:
"你知道吗.. 如果你要见效的话, 你应该买同一种的mask sheets. 你知道为什么吗? 因为blah blah blah....."

TMD!!!
did 老娘 ask for your damn fucking opinions???!
DID I?? DID I???!!!!

that was it man.
i totally ignored her and u know what i did?
i bought ALL DIFFERENT sheet masks!

that SA number 2 was really tmd irritating alright.

nowadays, i love watching videos on my itouch while masking.
am in love with my itouch again.

you will be surprised as to what videos i watched on itouch.
i usually will watch this taiwan variety show called '世界那么大'.
very interesting to me!

just watched a part of the one that was on laos last night.
and it did sort of refresh my memory.
eg: sa bi di = hello

i wonder how my favourite girl is doing..
is she still as adorable?
the only lao word i remembered is 'ma ni', which means come come, since it sounded like 'money money'.

i remembered:

- that in order to avoid washing my clothes again,
i told nirmala [however you spell her name] that i was sick and couldn't go for the bbq thingy.

please lo..
老娘 just washed her clothes in the afternoon..
and if i did go for the bbq, my clothes would be damn smelly again lar!
i rather sleep, self entertain myself in my room.

- us always laughing at agnes and saying that she was going to 成仙 because she was forever eating so little.

- agnes telling us that if we were to squat down and bathe,
we wouldn't feel that cold despite bathing with cold water.

- how we helped out in the kitchen and ended up half cooking, half eating the tempura mulberry leaves that were plain delicious.

- how damn irritated i was with papaya that i kept complaining about her to yj and agnes.

- attempting to wash clothes by the river and thinking to myself if my clothes would really be cleaned.

- how the lawrence gang 'conferenced' in my room and talked bad about the nirmala gang.

- how painful it was to walk barefooted for a good whole 10- 15 minutes on those kampong roads.

- crying when i called home from laos.

- being laughed at when some of my friends heard me conversing with ah ma.
i kept going 'heh.. heh..'
it's yes in teochew mah..

- feasting in this lucky 'restaurant' and harping on how good and cheap the food was.

- how gross it was to mix the mud and blah blah up with our feet.

- singing jay chou's latest song at that time [ 轨迹 ] and hymns on the lorry.


all these are just a small portion of memories of the 15 odd days we stayed in laos..

literally 一转眼, five whole years have passed.
FIVE you know.

i've quited teaching piano on friday evenings.
plain waste of time.

bai baba says it's more than enough to spend a day [sunday] learning how to teach piano.
so, he did encourage me to stop teaching on friday.

anyway.
i'm going to start doing private piano lessons this dec.

the good thing about teaching privately?
there's this thing as transport fees to be paid by parents.
and at least the fees are entirely mine, instead of having part of it going to the school.

the bad thing?
it's in bukit timah.
that sucks.

also, i'm going to do private lessons with this super adorable four year old girl.

location sucks again.


[[ birthday party ]]

saturday was the mini party for 阿姨 and javier.
and it was really a party..
with everyone having half days and coming ah ma's hse super early.

my bro was nice enough to tag along with becca and i to collect the cake at lana.
i mean.. it's so obvious that he would be carrying the heaviest cake,
but yet he came along.

was going to pay for the cakes and thought that we finally made it without bumping into 干妈.
but.. yea..
we did get caught in the end.

but this time round..
only 1 free butter cake.
haha.

now.. i shall share what presents javier got for his birthday.

was out with muay fan and went for movie.
sing to the dawn.

the movie was like super off from the novel alright.
was having a mild headache, so ended up sleeping during the movie.

the theatre was freaking cold can?

the food was very nice and affordable as well.

whereas xf said that the steamboat wasn't that fantastic.

i almost bought a totoro soft toy from minitoons.
it's just super cute and flat!
very huggable as well.

after being thrown into the washing machine so frequently,
it has a relatively big hole.

do you know that you've got to clean them very frequently?
if not they will end up being even dirtier than your toilet bowl seat!

i resort to cheap sponges so that disposing them after a few applications wouldn't hurt.

and.. now recommending the super good buy.
daiso is selling 10- 13 pieces of sponges in a packet for only $2!
