the whole family attended my cousin, qiqi's wedding today.
though it was a wedding lunch,
but it stretched on for hours, like almost the entire day was gone when it ended.

all because ke lei was too~~ high.

overall, the wedding lunch was good.
some catching up here and there and stuff.
and i drank quite a tad!
till my cousin, xue feng, thought i was going to get drunk?

another cousin, ming hui, commented on how my family loves to drink.
basically bai baba, my bro and i were seriously enjoying ourselves.
hahaha.

before i get started on how the jb trip was today,
i want to say that i went to the same shu uemura counter to do an exchange.
the blush i got then, P Pink 36D, has expired even before i could use it.
and i only realised that when i was about to use it.

despite having no receipt, the SA was nice enough to let me do an exchange.
i reckon she is able to recognise me by now.
so i ended up getting a P Peach 40.

i think it somewhat swatches to something similar.
and, please do not go all gaga if you find a P Pink 36D because this colour has already been discontinued.
so i suppose all possible left over stocks are all expired or going to expire.

moving on.
today's trip was crazy.
loads of shopping and food!

such a plain name, but it packs lots of punch in it!

no idea why, but we ended up 大包小包 again.
clothes, watch, shoes, skincare and TONS OF FOOD.

i guess it's family thing.
and that is made worse when we are together.

there is this ingredient in it called 火棘 in it which is supposed to 抗发炎.
this really works because i've been breaking out for the past month.

despite the cream being rich, when i apply it over my pimple,
it does appear to "calm" it down, somewhat like to prevent it from "exploding".

talking about pimples.

i do think that the clarisonic set did break me out.
and i'm talking about huge, red, on the verge of erupting pimples.

obviously, i still stick to it because it's so fucking expensive.
and i thought we shall try and see if this breakout shit keeps occuring.

so after 1 month of usage, i think my skin is getting used to it.
there hasn't been new pimples popping out [choy choy choy!!!].

i only use it once every night, instead of the recommended twice a day.
because i think it's a bit too much for my skin.

before you stamp the word "USELESS" on the clarisonic,
my brother is reacting positively towards it.
his skin has smoothened out significantly in the past 3 weeks of usage.

and i've also read reviews of people saying that the clarisonic broke them out in the first few weeks of usage,
but after that, everything went fine.

so, right now i'm praying that i do belong to the same group as these people.
to comfort myself further, at least it works on my bro.

muay fan and i spent the day at jb today.
my god.
it was TOTAL FUN.

the thing was, as usual, i had to have a go at manicure.
but the bad part is the nail art i did today turned out to be a little bleah.
so, no photo!

well.. at least i had my cuticles trimmed and nails filed nicely.
anyway, i'm going to my regular manicurist on saturday for manicure and pedicure just for my cousin's wedding on sunday.
ha.

back to the manicure today.
it was my fourth time there.
and by now, i'm becoming a "regular" already.
hahaha.

and till date, i've "introduced" 7 people there.

honestly.

we shopped around for clothes, shoes, makeup and blah.
half way through the day, muay fan said to me in a serious manner,
"eh.. really thank you man. i totally am enjoying myself! feeling damn happy!"

hahahaha.
she's weird huh?
totally laughed out loud at that.

and for the rest of the day,
she kept telling me how happy she was and how thankful she was to me.
mad crazy.
开心到疯掉.

hahaha.

another thing was, we haven't been taking bus together for quite some time.
god knows why she was reminded of ny times.
and she decided to be honest and confessed to me that she felt damn stressed whenever i would start running for the bus.

now, the story goes like this.

when we were in jc, we would go home together.
so, whenever i see which ever bus we were supposed to be taking at say 100m away from the bus stop,
i would immediately 拔腿就跑, turn behind and shout " muay fan! 跑快点!!"

at the beginning, she would be like "i don't want to run! can't we just wait for the next bus??"
[fyi: this was her os. she never once told me about that till today.]

but, my "principle" is that i would rather run for the bus than to waste time waiting for the next one.
so.. poor muay fan had to 默默地 put up with my "running after the bus" stunt for 2 whole years.

there was even once, when a friend who we know as ah pek, cheered us on when he saw us running past him at the bus stop.
he was like "加油!! 跑快一点!!"

hahahahahahahahaha!!

and the thing is my usual walking speed is not fast AT ALL,
but when it comes to running for the bus, i would suddenly sprint like crazy.
like... CRAZY.

she was saying that she's suspecting that it's my natural instinct to start running once i see my bus approaching.
the best part was she actually thinks that i had so much 爆发力 that it was as though i had transformed from a snail to a cheetah.

anyhow, we were laughing over this while we clearing the customs.
i laughed so hard that i could literally feel beads of sweat forming.
and if the officer did get suspicious over why i "looked" nervous,
i would go "i'm sweating because i laughed too hard. my friend just said i can transform from a snail to a cheetah."

very 无理头 i know.

the sad part was she told me then that she couldn't find it in sg anymore because she too loves it so much that she was looking for a back up.

no doubt this blush is, again, cheaper in malaysia [RM 82 vs SGD 40/42/44?],
i wanted it more for its colour than the cheaper price.

i used the my beauty diary black pearl mask which pet gave me last night.
it definitely isn't the first time i'm using it,
but miraculously, i was wowed after i was done with it.
it just made my skin so ultra smooth and moisturized!

with that, i paired it with my kanebo blancir night cream which i totally adored and woke up this morning with such great skin that i was so damn happy for the whole day.

having a good skin day is just pure happiness!

to make things even better,
i thought i did a great job at braiding my hair today!

told you this was going to be very 自夸了咯...

i've been meeting muay fan three days in a row.

met muay fan in town because she had something that she wanted to get.
and we wanted to go zara to get her a bag as part of her birthday present.
we were in those grab and go mode because we wanted to go check out marina bay sands.

honestly speaking, we don't find mbs a fabulous place.
that's a to-go place if you're buying some luxurious products or going to the casino or going for a play at the theatre.
other than that, both of us agree that we would stay out of that mall.

personally, i still prefer orchard than going to cityhall/ marina bay area.
i rather walk down a whole stretch of malls than to hop from one place to another.

back to mbs.
we were both a little black faced when we reached there,
especially when we had to walk under the sun.
god damn hot!

somehow we managed to have a glimpse of the interior of the casino and it was wow..
HUGE.

shopping wise, those branded boutiques are bigger, i think, in mbs.
but.
with very few customers.

we went into gucci as muay fan wanted to get a gift.
the way the SA treated us was as if she spent tens of thousands in there.

we were asked to be seated while the SA went to settle the payment.
and she came back, kneeled right beside muay fan to get her sign the receipt.
and..
walked us all the way to the door, bowed and thanked you in the most sincere way ever.

hahaha.
i think those SAs in there are seriously bored till death.
literally 在拍苍蝇.
that's why nobody snubbed us when we walked into ANY boutique.

yes.
if you're looking for that kind of service, please go the extra distance to mbs.
otherwise, just 乖乖地 walk out of the door on your own in any other boutiques in town.

after gucci, we went over to chanel because i wanted to get a pair of earrings.
the previous one i got is not very my style,
hence i've only worn it atmost twice till date.
so this time round, i wanted something that i can wear every day without much thoughts.

you might be thinking why the hell am i splurging on a pair of earrings.
well.. i HARDLY HARDLY buy earrings,
perhaps a pair a year?
so i suppose that's a great reason for me to buy it.

whatever.



a very simple and classic design.
that's just me.
i don't like fanciful accessories.
am never into those dangling earrings.



also got a nail lacquer in jade rose from the flagship store right next to the boutique.

again, you'll be thinking why the hell does she need a chanel NUDE nail lacquer.
but, i TRUELY love nude nail lacquers.
does this make the purchase a justifiable one?

in fact, i love almost every other NUDE stuff.
nude bags, nude shoes, nude makeup, nude blush etc..
even muay fan says she's reminded of me whenever she sees something in nude colour.
haha!

anyhow, we were served by an ang mo male SA over at the chanel beauty store.
and he literally looked into your eyes whenever he answered your questions.
that sort of made us a little intimidated.
ha.

also, he introduced this new chanel chance perfume.
god.
i'm going to get it!

also, if you're someone who hardly splurge on chanel beauty stuff and you want the best packaging you can get,
head to mbs chanel store.

i guess no matter what you buy,
they will "wrap" it up in a white chanel bag with a ribbon somemore!

thank god, i found it when i was in kl.

this is a so called "my lips but better" gloss.
absolutely safe.
and the plus point is it isn't that sticky.

she told me that being youthful is VERY important.
