actually the main purpose of meeting up today was to pass her those eye palettes and lip balm she got me to get in japan.

did some shopping and got a mini lesportsac cosmetic pouch.
alright.. the size seems to be more fitting for pads instead.

i seems to be collecting cosmetic pouches recently.
perhaps a new addiction.

we were on our way to tangs to check out mac's colour craft collection when we stopped by 7-11.
pet psychoed me to get this capsule which has like 2 hp accessories, the miss sunshine, miss naughty those series?

finally she agreed to PIECE with me.
hahaha..

anyway, she picked the green capsule and guess what?
mr nosey [with a very long nose] was in there.
hahaha..

apparently, it was an exclusive launch at tangs and will be "relaunching" in july.

for now, most of the stuff are either sold out or have yet to come in.

these days, half the time, i'm busy.
the other half, i'm just plain lazy.
that explains the absence of updates here.

i do have stuff and photos to upload.
but.. just a matter of time huh...

was supposed to go down to robinson expo sale on sunday.
but muay fan msged me like on friday night to change it to saturday.
by then, i was already asleep, so only got that on saturday morning.

so.. the story was i didn't have time to doll up at all and had with me a super heavy bag.
was going for tuition you see...

so... because of those 2 reasons, i wasn't very willing to go for the sale.
was like super happy when she told me that i get to make the choice of going and that it wasn't VERY necessary to go if i didn't want to.

obviously i replied her "great! let's not go then."

now.
both of us are regretting like crazy.

i read up a beauty blog and learnt that the sale was crazy with lunasol eye palattes going at $38 and nail lacquers at $10?
and and and..
most of givenchy stuff were on 50% discount?

how fabulous.
so there we were cursing like hell through smses.

anyhow, i found the gss this time round more attractive.
but.
i'm broke.

DAMN.

still.. bought quite a few items from john little.
it's becoming like my second watsons when it has that very attractive additional 20% discount for card members.

lastly.
michael jackson.

i honestly think that his entire life is like so dramatic.
even his death.

all i knew about him before debbie enlightened me were:
1. he's someone whose plastic surgeries failed like mad.

the best buy of all has got to be the magnifying mirror i got from taka!



it's like $19.12 after 20% discount?
a similar size one at muji would cost like $39!

as you can see from the photo,
i can:

1. plaster it onto my current mirror.
2. put it in the "vase" that comes along with it.
3. put it as it is.

as to why i got this idea of buying a magnifying mirror was because there was one in the bathroom in a hotel i stayed in japan.
that was when i realised how good it was to have one such mirror.
very easy to do your eye makeup and to remove it.

hence.
i highly encourage all hiao female fellows out there to get one too.
somemore can examine your face close up.
eg. monitor the formation of a wrinkle or something along the line.

side track.
as to how i plaster the magnifying mirror onto my mirror,
this is the 法宝.




ah ma gave me these because i was too~~~ amazed by them already.

super 神奇 can?
simply paste this on glass, wall, blah blah and then plaster whatever you want on it.
we even tried to plaster a rice cooker on it.
and it stayed!

we finally decided that this apricot looked nice on me.

when i got her to get me one, she found out it was oos.

sogo next door didn't have this shade too and there wasn't any rmk counter at the airport.

didn't have time to swatch the colours one by one, so of course got recommended the new colour and grabbed it!

i only used one single colour for es today.
in replacement of my usual liner.

fyi, i've reused the pair of falsies for 3-4 times.
haha.
i intend to use it for the 5th time, but it's getting abit too used-up.




anyhow.
the blush is a new colour too.

saw the MA donning a pretty colour and asked her what it was.
so she showed me this.

omg.

still, i decided to go ahead and buy it simply because i was running out of time.

i think it's nice.
as long as you apply with caution, it shouldn't go too wrong.

but if you want to create the "gana slapped in your face" look, go heavy on this.

in case you've not realised, i come from a rather traditional family.
that's why we've got to practise so many different rituals and stuff though my ah ma has already passed on for like 2 years.

the thing is this super big scale ritual costs us like 40+k and the paper house for ah ma is already 7+k.
this passerby who came to kpo thought that the family struck lottery, that's why we've got this massive scale ritual.

anyway.
the whole of today was spent at the ritual place.
which.. is like super close to deb's house.
ha.

the weather is like freaking hot can?
as though it's not hot enough, we're all wearing like 2 layers of tee shirts and shorts and pants.

was a great time to catch up with one another.
basically the cousins are divided into 2 groups, the older clique and the younger clique.
me obviously in older clique and my bro in the younger one.

honestly.. though we've grown up together and are all in our 20s,

back to the rituals, we kneeled like crazy today.
CRAZY.
at least up and down more than 100 times, without taking into consideration those moments we kneeled all the way for more than 10 minutes each time.

things got a tad sentimental for me when we were burning the paper house.

then my eyes would get all so teary..

realised i'm not the only one.
coz i think i saw ming hui having teary eyes as well.
and ma told me that she was thinking of ah ma at that moment..

话说 we were having break during the ritual, so we sort of gathered around to talk.
then this cousin of mine, jia hao, came to our mini group to get something and my 小姑 started calling him "eh... 罗志祥!"

his hairstyle also copy ziao zhu's!!!

i couldn't stop staring at his hair man.

those normal 3 ply masks that i wanted to get are like sold out at both watsons and guardian.

i've got them reserved at np's watsons.
so that isn't too bad.

back at my place, randomly looked through some magazines i had and chose this particular purple smokey eye look to do.
taught her how to agar agar do it..

the thing was she did two different eye looks on both eyes and ma came in half way.

the other day i went shopping with winnie.
so we were at hereen when we heard this really soft music playing in a random store that sells tee shirts.

we decided that since this store has such great taste, she bought a tee shirt for my bro for his birthday.

of course the tee shirt she bought is very cute.

was telling winnie that when i listen to this particular song called 嬉戲之後, i would be paying attention to the 合奏 instead of 青峰's singing.
and i would be like getting ready to do the 合奏.

she thought i was weird and said that she never even noticed about the 合奏!
but now.. i know she does.

after a few times of playing the cd, i would be listening really hard to those accompaniments of the various instruments in the songs.

i totally love counting to the beat!!!

now i totally understand why my piano teacher loves to get me to count when i totally used to hate it.
i thought it was very embarrassing to be counting aloud.

mmm..
now it's my turn to force my piano kids to count.

you know what i do?
i will tell them that they can count in their heart,
but if i do catch them not counting, i would make them count aloud.

this trick works perfectly well!
so proud of myself.
