anyway, this photo was taken by sunya once she got it.
well.. it's definitely not very 上镜 here,
but i honestly think it's damn cute.

and.
the proceeds go to mac aids fund, just like those viva glam lipsticks and lipglasses which i've mentioned before.

dropped by town to collect some concert tickets for ma,
so i 顺道 went shopping for that little while.
and chanel happened to launch their holiday collection that very day.



came back home with les tissages de chanel in tweed fuchsia and rouge coco lipstick in magnolia.

anyhow, sunya said that she read on twitter that samantha thavasan is coming to sg next year and i read somewhere that burberry is also launching their makeup line in dec.

my god.
these 2 are exciting news to me!!
can't wait to check them out when they are finally in town!



the family celebrated ah gong's birthday yesterday.
it was the first time the whole family was so 齐全 except that huat jiujiu couldn't make it.

well, it was of course very joyous and stuff, but we ordered a tad too much.
like 吃到爆炸!

不要质疑, cake is from lana.

talking about it, when i picked the cakes [3 to be exact] up yesterday,
it was raining, so i called for a cab.

when the cab came, i totally didn't have any free hand to open the door.
then this very nice lady came forward and helped me to open it.
omg.
so nice!



dinner at ah ma's house today.
the portion bacca, winnie and i shared cost probably at least $20 if we had it outside.
it's THAT overloaded with 料!

first time eating hor fan cum mee cum bee hoon cooked by ah gong.
he honestly cooks damn freaking well.
like no kidding man.
the whole family is just totally alright with having that only for dinner.

i wonder why ma and ah yi totally don't inherit that fab cooking skills.
*shrugs*

going to be missing two weeks of sat dinners in a row because my grandparents will be away for holidays.

in fact, i've been shopping for 3 consecutive days since friday!

went jb with pet yesterday because she wanted to go.
so.. we went for mani and pedi.

love the opi designer series in classic.
the shimmers in it are AMAZING.
what's more, it's a NUDE!

also, i got a mac 109 brush.
honestly wanted it for the longest time and i just used it today.
turned out to be what i wanted.
dense, small and precise.

apparently, there's a 10sgd difference in price.
i didn't check it out in our local counters though i did passed by 2 today.



a new cover for my phone in one of my favourite colours- green.
mint to be exact.

hahaha.

as for today, i met up with muay fan for dinner and some shopping.
shopping was very efficient today because i actually had a shopping list.

had fun at sephora because nobody bothered to attend to us when we were swatching stuff at the smashbox counter.
probably only the security guard noticed us since the counter was very near the entrance.

now ladies, if you're interested in a range of gel/cream eyeliners,
you would probably want to check out this palette of liners by smashbox.
it has got 10 shades in there for $55.

i must say that, even though the tester looks dried up,
but those liners swatched very nicely, except perhaps for the purple shade.
and.. based on the swatch on the back of muay fan's hand, they are pretty long lasting.

yup.

i probably should stop shopping at such a rate.
afterall, i do think i want to order more nars after 5th nov.
that's when a new blush shade is going to be available on the site.

chanced upon this at the japanese section in ntuc at junction 8.
thought it was amusing and cute, so i got one pack of mug cup noodles.




comes in "dog" and "panda" versions.







those dog stuff are fish cakes stuff.

and yes..
it's freaking small.
probably 1/4 of your regular instant noodles.

what to do?
it's supposedly 107kcal at the very most.

the taste doesn't differ very much from any random instant noodles.
i guess this would be good if you badly want supper at night or perhaps in the office?

next.

yesterday was ma's birthday.
and i had the whole day free, so i went shopping for birthday present in town with winnie after she was done with her project meeting.

actually, i already had in mind what to get for ma and also something for myself.
just had to go check them out in person.
was like discussing with sunya the entire morning.



血拼战利品 after 4 hours.
merely 2 items and i really 大出血 man!

digress:
i was telling winnie that i somehow tend to buy so much ever since i came back from hong kong that my shopping bags will "flair" out!
at a slightly higher frequency.

got a kate spade bag for ma for birthday.
now..
just in case somehow you're thinking how nice i am,
mm..
let me admit this.
i bought the bag mainly because it's too cute that it's irresistible.
simply had to have it in the house even though it's supposedly not mine.

no photo of it because it isn't mine huh?
and it's like placed nicely back into the box after ma opened it.

as for myself, i got a set of clarisonic plus set from sephora.
this is sort of a toothbrush for your face, whereby you use it together with any foaming cleanser of your choice to deep cleanse your skin.



the set comes with 3 miniature clarisonic cleansers, a body scrub, a face brush, a body brush and a charger.
this retails for $375 at sephora.

as to how i came to know about clarisonic was when sunya told me she wanted to buy it and eventually did buy it.
yesh.

no doubt this is really on the expensive side and the fact that it only helps to deep cleanse your skin,
there has been lots of positive reviews and i pray like mad that it will work miracle for me.

mm.
honestly, clean skin does make a lot of difference.
especially when i do wear makeup on a regular basis.

anyhow, because the first charge has got to be for 24 hours,
i only just got to try it today.
like just.

first impression:
the way the brush cleanses my skin feels like how the neutrogena wave does.
but definitely my skin feels a lot cleaner compared to that and even more cleaner compared to just using my bare hands.

the impressive part is how i always feel a tad stickiness on my skin after applying my skincare.
now... even if i'm in a non air con room,
the stickiness is reduced to the very minimum.

so.. doesn't this show that all the skincare that follows after cleansing with the brush are more efficiently absorbed?

the only thing is i got to force myself to do this day and night for a minute each time.
can't wait to see what great things it can do to my skin.

also, i will be getting a separate sensitive brush for my bro the next time i drop by sephora so that we can share it.
and.. if results are good for my bro, will rope my parents in as well??

in this way, we can all fully ultilise it, make every cent worth it and have great skin?
hahaha.

for some drugstore stuff.



decided to try this after reading about it in the papers.
apparently the company claims that lip balms shaped like this are the most effective in applying them.
mm.. i think it's true to a certain extent.

this lip balm doesn't leave your lips oily and the moisturizing effect is pretty long lasting.
and i like the part that it doesn't have any spf to it because i can apply this to sleep too.




this is a clear eyelash glue which i got winnie to help me get in japan last dec.
imagine.
yesterday was the first time i used it.
haha.

read about this on a blog and thought i should give it a try.
the verdict is that i prefer this to mac duo eyelash glue.



you can apply the glue evenly and easily with an applicator like this.
whereas the mac one comes in a tube and you're got to either squeeze it onto your hand before transferring to the falsies or squeeze it directly onto the falsies.

and because the glue application is thin and even with this,
the falsies are hell lot easier to clean after you're done with them at the end of the day.

well.
too bad..
i've got no idea where i can purchase this when i run out of it.
anyhow, it retails for approx 14 sgd, just in case you're heading for japan and want to try this.

i did slap on more product on this time,
just so it shows up in photos.

bare in mind that this isn't all it offers.
you totally can have a full blown bold red lips with it.

oh.
and i got the lipstick version of this as well on thursday.
that shows how much i adore the viva glam cyndi!

lastly.
i actually bumped into jm yesterday at kino.
can you imagine??
JM leh!!

the best part was i only noticed him when we 擦肩而过.
and at that very moment, my first instinct was to 打量 the girl with him.
i supposed that is his new gf.

by the time i realised that i shouldn't be focusing on that girl,
all i could see was the mole on his face.

anyway, when i told muay fan this and asked if she remembered about him,
she went like "yes i know who's that. i even have a vague impression of how he looks like!"

had a great birthday dinner yesterday at jack's place.
purpose was to celebrate both my parents' birthdays which are 8 days apart.

everyone was in fab mood, hence the great dinner.
no idea why, but our family always heads for jack's place when we're craving for western food.

i haven't been wearing makeup 4 days in a row!
And i had only worn makeup on 2 days the whole of last week!

the loccitane bag has got birthday present for my godma.
i actually walked back and forth town for some time just to get something decent for her!
till the point i got really pek chey.




for myself, i got the long desired longchamp bag which i was too broke to buy in hk!
all thanks to bacca.

anyhow, it's the cream coloured one on the left of the pic.
its actually colour is ivorie.

just so you know, the other folded bag is in paper colour.
i just wanted to show you that paper and ivorie actually look pretty different because muay fan thought they were about the same.

as for the small one, just for you to compare the sizes.
yup.

see..
told you that i wouldn't be detered from buying yet another longchamp bag despite what happened to my previous one.
and this one i've just gotten is also made in france and has the same red lining as the previous one.

pray like crazy that the same colour run problem would not happen!
well.. at the very most, i will just return the bag.




i started using it for the first time today.
and the sad thing is it's already dirty!
nvm.. i've cleaned it.

honestly, if you're as particular as me when it comes to dirt on bags,
i suggest NEVER to buy light coloured bags unless you're willing to take care of it.

mac viva glam cyndi lipglass.
this, i believe, has just been launched not too long ago.

i actually wasn't sure which to get, the lipstick or the lipglass.
but the lipstick was oos, so i settled for the lipglass which turned out to be something i really like!



just like how it can be swatched heavily, it can be swatched like ultra sheer.
in that way, the gloss is isn't too sticky.



i'm sorry.
i really did apply the lipglass because i wanted to show you guys a swatch on me.
but it turned out that the application was far to sheer to be captured on the camera.
my phone camera to be exact.

i shall take another photo of me wearing it tmr and post it up.
provided i do remember.

whatever it is,
my say is that this colour is beautiful!
easily the nicest gloss i've got [mmm.. i've got.. 4/5 only? hahaha]
and definitely i can see myself using this very frequently.

honestly..
er... i don't know who this cnydi lauper is.
she's the one who sort of "design" this colour for mac.
all i can say is, before i know who she is, i know she's got great, fabulous taste!

so.. judging from how crazily in love i am with this gloss,
i'm so going to get my hands on the lipstick version!

and surprisingly, he 二话不说就 went to buy for me.

by the way, apparently, drinking h2o or 100 plus can alleviate diarrhea?

yesterday was the launch of mac new collection -venomous villains and chanel soho collection.
i was like at tangs damn early in the morning, like 10.35am at the very most.
though tangs opened at 10.30am, there was already a crowd hovering around the venomous villains collection when i reached there.
mad crazy leh.

anyhow, seeing all those products flying off the shelves and with not enough testers to go around,
i just told this SA the stuff i definitely would want and wait till he had the chance to try out the beauty powders on me.

so those are a bite of an apple blush and a strange potion lipglass from the evil queen [snow white] segment and a her own devices beauty powder from cruella de vil [101 dalmatians].

i saw quite a few kong bu customers who were queueing in front of me.
there was this ang mo lady wo bought 19 items, totalling close to $600 alright.
solely from this collection.
madness man.

so after stopping by mac, i headed over to chanel counter at paragon to collect the highlighting powder/ blush.

guess what?
i'm suspecting that i'm the only idiot who reserve the item.
because the SA knew who i was when i said i reserved it.
