she was like telling me that if she had the chance of marrying a super rich husband who can support her and stuff, she would be more than happy, willing to practise piano for leisure.

the other day, my student's mum asked if i was still taking piano exams.
and i said yes but not anytime soon.

i keep joking with my piano teacher saying that she ought to present some kind of a loyal student award to me.
bet my head that i'm the longest, oldest student she ever had.

anyway told the mum honestly that even i myself am very lazy to practise, let alone her sons.
she replied jokingly "but when you teach your students, you're somewhat practising right?"

"mm.. i'm practising their level. not mine."

i admit i'm super super lazy when it comes to practicing piano.
on top of that, i find myself being somewhat handicapped.

like honestly.

anyhow, this beethoven sonata in c minor, op10 no 1 has been taking me ages.
up till date, i've only managed to finish the first and third movement, second movement untouched.

at the same time, she was like serving a regular i think..
this regular was trying on some earrings as well..
and she somemore turned to us and asked "not too loud right?"

of course we nodded, despite me thinking otherwise.
yea. she got that in the end.

as for me, i wanted to get this somewhat acrylic stud earrings as i thought they look very cute and sweet.
but both muay fan and that jessica persuaded me to get another pair which is supposedly dangling, but also not that dangling at the same time.

that jessica said this pair will make my face longer, supposedly slimming effect..
will make one look younger.
and best of all..
this pair is a seasonal design with only 3 more pairs left, despite it coming in just yesterday!

so i settled for that.

back to yesterday.

yes..
had lunch at white sands and then went ntuc to get some bbq stuff.
and i must say bacca isn't that organised a person.
it's like we must ask her if she has gotten this, gotten that blah blah.

it came to a point, even my brother was like telling winnie "哇.. 你姐姐hor.."

anyway, by the time we were done buying those stuff, bacca had already came to pick us up and i drove them back to the chalet.

was already starting to drizzle and stuff when we finally reached.
honestly, none of us had been to aloha changi before.

and omg.

exactly those type of places meant to shoot those ghost stories..

don't ever go for aloha changi.

but there are like only 2 single beds in each room.

then there is this wooden cupboard that is really old looking and it looks as though you'll find something real interesting/ exciting when you open it.

we had the intention to stayover.
brought all the necessities and stuff.
but.
我们还是爬回家.

not that i didn't dare to stayover with so many other people,
but i was real tired and stuff and was supposed to meet muay fan the next day for shopping.
god knows that she would fly my kite.
kinda pissed.

oh well.
things did get better when the party started with so many more people.
managed to get the bbq going despite the constant heavy drizzle.
but, the bbq food was mainly for those who were bbq-ing.
ie. my family members.

btw, there was a rainbow yesterday!
damn nice can..

but it's like one of the 3-5 times i've seen a rainbow in my life.

the other day, she was telling me whether worth it or not, whether i want it or not, i should just go get a bottle of mac nail lacquer.

as planned, muay fan and i went to watch marley and me early this afternoon.

really fantastic!
chicken was damn tender, rice was very fragnant, chilli wasn't bad and the bean sprouts.

as for the yong tau hoo, i tried it sometime back and i seriously don't like it.
neither do my parents.

brought my paper tote out for the second time.

damn.
there were some unknown stains/ dirt on it.
pissed me off like crazy.

came back home and SCRUBBED it!
now, to share how i clean my tote in case deb, xf, whoever has a dirty longchamp bag in the future.

basically, i used those baby bath in real small amounts, along with a toothbrush.
if you do attend to those dirt asap, they ought to be cleaned after a few brushes.

afterwhich, rinse those targeted areas.
if you wish to, blow dry with a hair dryer.
if not, just hang it to air dry.

it's best not to wet the leather portion,
as it may turned into a darker shade or something.

but if i get real irritated, i will just dump the entire bag into the pail of water and scrub the hell out of it.
hahaha.

yeup.
so now my paper tote is once again as good as new.
as clean as new.
shall bring it out tmr.

if it gets dirty.....
i shall scrub it.

very nice..
as its name suggests, its peachy.
and it has shimmers too.

i love blushers with shimmers..
but definitely not those with chunky shimmers in them!

btw, peachykeen is also the ONE and ONLY blusher of mine that has a hole in it.
well.. that's because i used to survive on it alone.
haha.

anyway anyway..
i've just placed an order with everyday minerals for an eye shadow and 2 blushers in sample sizes.

顺便 ordered for pet and xf as well and the bill came up to 18.55usd inclusive of shipping??
that's freaking cheap!
given that we got altogether 10 items from there, in sample sizes though.

for those who are interested,

so i got him to help me with some stuff but i ended up having to explain to him like 4-5 times how to read a compass.

i must say i'm pretty interested in bringing tobby there initially.
mainly because i think tobby would really enjoy himself with the other dogs.

the problem is..
i'm a dog lover who is afraid of dogs.

how am i going to survive there with so many other dogs when i'm only not that afraid of tobby?

the other day i bought tobby some titbits from pet's station.

so keeps wanting to bite stuff..

so, i got him titbits that supposedly will help him to 磨牙, according to the lady at the store.

anyway, that lady recommended us to buy some vege titbits for him.
she said that some dogs actually like vege stuff.
wasn't very sure if tobby would like them, so i only bought one corn for him to try.

surprisingly, he finished the entire corn, well.. which isn't very big, within say 15 minutes.
i thought that corn could last for a few hours man!

hahaha!

ah ma says that whenever tobby sees me, he gets really excited and happy.
of course!
i buy him treats, i walk him, i pat him, i talk to him.
he MUST love me right?!

the rest don't even bother about him.
like really.
somehow i get the idea that my brother is even more scared of dogs than me.
haha.

anyhow, tobby is really good.
i was telling xf how he now knows/ understands that i can't stand dogs licking at me so he would just stand still and let me pat him.

i'm finally finally done with prelude!
super happy today.
even bothered to wear nice nice to teach on my last day there.

had arranged to meet xf after work so that we could chiong to town to grab our longchamp bags.
the reason why we had to chiong and grab is because whatever designs we wanted had only 5 and 6 pieces left respectively.

yesh.
so i called xf and told her that i was waiting for her at the platform at novena, door 18.

a couple of minutes later, she smsed me and told me that she had just boarded the train at toa payoh.

so i was like.. great.
very fast.
especially since i needed to go to the toilet pretty urgently.

then she called.
and asked where i was and she couldn't see me.

i was like..
huh?? i told you i'm on the platform waiting what..
door 18 mah..

and she said the train she was in had already left novena.

HUH??
how could that be??

got a little pissed off because 都说我很急了咯!
so i told her "你在做梦啊??!"

guess what had happened?
i was waiting for the train to jurong east instead to marina bay.

best was i didn't even realise that till i boarded the jurong east bound train.
heng i got off before the train left.

原来是我在做梦!
hahahaha.

luckily we still got hold of our bags despite all the delays.
if not, i would probably kill myself.

just don't understand why longchamp is like shipping in so limited quantities nowadays..
and everyone seems to be so interested in getting their hands on the seasonal colours.

xf was telling me that the red one i wanted to get for ma would be coming in mid march, which is like next week.

so i ended up complaining like crazy to her, asking why do they take so damn long to import a damn bag.

checked out the mac grand duos collection today at ngee ann.
super disappointed man..
it's a blusher collection and i doubt i would be getting any from it.

it's like.. those colours that people in forum are raving, eg moon river, intenso and love rocks, aren't as fab as they made them sound.

when the ma tried it on my hands with the brush,
those colours didn't turn out well.
what's worse?
the powder was like flaking everywhere whenever she swirls the brush in the pan.

argh.
shall wait till friday and get muay fan to give me comments on those blushers.

btw.
muay fan helped me get big bow from vivo tangs yesterday!

look carefully and you will see a faint imprint of a hello kitty on the lipstick!

though big bow looks super red and bright.

i went watson to get these ellips capsules which was selling at a discount of 2 bottles at $21.

got some other stuff and i mentally calculated that the bill would come up to about $25.
it should be more than enough.

guess what?
i paid $36.30 in all.

happily walked to the bus stop blah blah.
then i started to wonder why i spent that much at watson.

super tiring.

to my surprise, he told me that it wasn't exactly that unpredictable coz when one concentrates on doing what he/she is doing, it does consume quite a bit of energy.

话说muay fan and i planned to go down to collect our mac hello kitty preorders this afternoon after my class without realising that she preordered at tangs vivo and me at tangs orchard.

at least she was quite nice to go and collect hers on her own before coming to join me in town.
but.. something really unhappy happened at vivo.

what happened was we were supposed to be entitled to a free hello kitty shopping tote if we were to purchase more than $120 worth of mac stuff, inclusive of at least one hello kitty item.

i even checked with suzan twice and was very sure we'll be getting it when we preordered.

but.
muay fan preordered $200+ worth of hello kitty stuff...
ALL hello kitty alright and vivo tangs said that "NO. no free hello kitty shopping tote for all preorders."

so... muay fan 就火大.
like 很大.
and she was complaining to me over smses.

at the point in time, i started thinking that maybe i might not get that tote too and was already planning to make a complaint if i really didn't get one.

anyway.
muay fan eventually converted those items on her kiv list to confirmed list.
i must say that the shopping tote plays a key role in that decision.

yeup.

as for my part of the story...
luckily as promised, i did get a shopping tote.
apparently tangs vivo and tangs orchard operated differently..
so stupid man.

really really big thanks to suzan, the super 大喇喇 ma in mac.
though it's like i've just gotten to know her, today was the third time i saw her, she's treating me like one of her old old regulars.

it's like EXTREMELY painful that i almost teared.
