ma's cousin passed away last friday.
so for the past few days, we've all been very busy and i've just been the chauffeur of the family.

people may think that 'oh.. he's a distant uncle..',
but ma's side of the family is pretty bonded,
so he isn't distant after all.

i bought a pile of sticky the other day.
people must be thinking i was crazy when i was checking out that day.

anyway, i was so happy to see sticky makes sweets in passion fruit.
i simply love any passion fruit flavoured stuff.
but this was just okay.

the UFO bread was pretty good.
as for the cakes, i think the haha family [chocolate cake] is the nicest out of the lot.

i don't quite enjoy the chocolate dome thingy i ordered.
i'm for cake NOT mousse which was like 90% of it.

spent the whole day shopping with sunya last tuesday.
we were damn efficient that day.

i don't like it when i don't buy anything at all after a day of shopping.
some people just don't understand why i just HAVE to buy something when i'm out.
i mean.. if not it's like such a waste of time.

anyhow.



















i came home with these and was pleasantly surprised by a parcel waiting for me at home.
but.
after walking a few more steps into my living room,
i saw my credit card bill waiting for me.
that, was such a spoiler.

stuff i bought that day:

1. tsubaki massage spa mask
i just tried this today and i must say i'm happy with the results.
my hair just feels so soft and silky.
sunya told me that she enjoyed this as well.


2. sulwhasoo first care activating serum
this was an impulse buy which sunya read many positive reviews on.
thank god it proved to be worth the money.

basically, it's a serum you apply to "activate" the rest of the skincare that follow.
if you're interested, you can drop by the tangs counter and get a sample of it.
apparently, the SAs are very open about giving out samples.


3. snoopy schedule 2013
this is the 2013 version of my current one.

4. philosophy field of flowers shower gel, shampoo and bubble bath
this smells amazing on the body.
it sure smells a tad different from the bottle and on your body.

5. lush new solid shampoo
yes, it's called new.
weird huh?

yet another recommendation from sunya.
according to her, one bar can last at least 3 months.

surprisingly, this solid shampoo isn't hard to use at all.
it lathers very well and leaves my hair feeling clean.
however, it doesn't have a super nice scent.
at least the scent doesn't linger in my hair.

my rebecca minkoff mac family.
the camel coloured one is the latest addition to the family.

for the past year, the bag i used the most is the navy mac.
even though the distressed leather isn't my cup of tea,
i still love using it because it was just so convenient to use.
the size holds pretty much my necessities.

on the other hand, the mini mac has just been sitting in my wardrobe.
fitting my lv wallet in it proves to be a tight squeeze and switching up wallets is just too much of a fuss.

so, i guess i can say that a new mac is a justified purchase.
especially when this particular model has been one i've been eyeing for months since i saw it online.
it's called the mac perf weave clutch and it was from spring/summer 2012.
needless to say, i got it at a huge discount since it's not from the current season.
