all thanks to ROUGE DELUXE, i managed to learn about this limited edition urban decay alice in wonderland book of shadows.
muay fan didn't even inform me and reserved on her own. = =
anyhow, i managed to get my hands on one after calling sephora to reserve. today's the launch date fyi.
here's the beauty with the packaging done up so damn well.
for the price you pay, you get: - 16 eye shadows with good payoff - 2 24/7 eyeliners which i've been dying to try! - a mini eyeshadow primer potion which i also have been wanting to try. - pop up mushrooms with alice?
i got this SA at sephora to show me the palette before i collected mine. and she went "TADA!" when she opened up the mirror cum pop up section. = =""
failed attempt at trying to get myself in the picture with those mushrooms.
finally succeeded after X attempts.
oh. i just found this.
why is it that everyone must have that "TADA!" kinda effects when they open that mirror section?? hahaha. mad funny.
i'm very much in love with the palette because it's a real beauty! that's despite not doing much of an eye look. ha.
also, i got a tfs nail polish and a lavender room spray! cool nonsense huh?
anyhow, today's dinner was great because pet, deb, mark and i met up to discuss about our trip. it's still on! WOO HOO~
dinner over at marche and dessert over at blue mountain cafe were good. let's find time to have such outing again!

- fitflops - eye makeup remover, a backup since my current one can only lasts me for say 10 more times - dhc eyelash tonic - mac impeccable brow pencil, muay fan said it rocks - travel ear plugs?

the amazing part is i was out of the house 15minutes later. with usual makeup done, clothes changed and bag packed. i was really fast huh?

to pet, deb and mark, i'm sorry that our trip has to be postponed, or more likely to be cancelled. but there isn't much i can do about it, so... *sigh*
anyhow, i've been getting questions about what i would like for my bdae this year. i've not exactly given much thoughts on that, but i'm declining skincare/ cosmetics offers just because that's the mood for the month.
yesh. "enough of skincare/ cosmetics" mood for feb. not sure for march though. ha.
since we're on this topic of makeup, probably you'll like to check out thisblog entry about hitting pan.
i do agree with makeup blogette that hitting pan is like hitting the jackpot. so far, i've perhaps hit pan on less than 5% of my stuff. that's how pathetic that is.
imagine my joy when i saw that hole in my chanel pressed powder. had to text muay fan right away to share the news with her. ha.
bo liao you would think, but it's that great a deal to us.
next. i broke my mac viva glam v lipstick that day. damn irritated because more than 2/3 of it is unused. i doubt i would want to use it anymore or to get a replacement for it.

yesterday i got real frustrated with laura mercier website that i wrote in a complaint.
what happened was a few months ago, i emailed them with regards to product information and colour recommendations, but nobody got back to me.
yesterday, i was trying to locate the stores in hong kong, but that site was screwed up and couldn't list any at all.
so that was it. i definitely hope that someone does get back to me. otherwise, i may even call their international customer service hotline.
that, is how pissed i can get over such supposedly minor issues.

and she was so shocked, thinking that i was going to wash it myself. i was like.."of course not! send for washing."
i thought she would nag at me for 'wasting' money on maintaining the bag blah blah. but she didn't.
the downside? she keeps wanting to borrow my bags! and only those branded ones.

these few days i got so much kick out of saying 'HUAT AR!' every time i call ah ma, i will huat her. hahaha!
as you can probably tell.. i've had a great cny this year. just damn happy despite knowing i'm going to be the sway-est of the lot this year.
talking about sway-ness. believe it or not, i only won 1 out of 20 odd rounds of bridge. whoever who partnered me confirm lose. hahaha.
then. i had my try at toto. out of 8 sets of 5 numbers, i only got 3 winning numbers. how fab is my luck?
whatever!!
anyway, i did slightly more visiting this year. i usually don't go round my uncles, aunts' houses. but this year i tagged along for 3 of such house visits.
yesh. surprisingly, i enjoyed myself. mainly because i was able to chit chat with my cousins and stuff instead of staring at the tv.
and.. guess what's the common topic?
BAGS!!! we just went on and on about them till ke lei was like "stop talking about these useless bags!" hahahha!
aiya.. guys just don't get what's this bag obsession is about.

anyhow, it was one of my younger cousins' birthday today. so we celebrated it over dinner.

in case you're wondering what on earth happened to me, i've been SICK and still running about with all the stuff and hence EVEN sicker now. = =
and it all started with the pineapple tarts baking session we had at muay fan's place last friday. damn. no more baking next year. it seems as though i always fall sick after it.
anyhow, i lost my voice since sat and it's STILL bloody not back. and i had the worst sorethroat ever over the weekends. it was so damn bad that i went to the doctor.
dr: anyone at home having the same symptoms as you? i: no.
dr: have you been shouting a lot? i: no.
dr: have you been taking heaty food, eg deep fried stuff/ bak kwa? i: NO.
= = whatever. just know that i'm down with a damn serious cough and have yet to regain my voice.
anyway. pet and i watched this show on sat and were totally amused by it. hahahaha! i can't believe that i still can recognise lkk man!
oh. i haven't been able to really go shopping these days. so, i've yet to check out urban decay in sephora.. and also to get anything from mac in lillyland collection.
i did check out the mac collection. but those cremeblend blushers didn't exactly turned out to be as exciting as i thought they would be. so i've not gotten anything.
perhaps i will just get the brow pencil if there is still stocks.. and relook at those cremeblends again.

i'm feeling kinda pissed with someone right now. but forget it. i shall get over it soon.
anyway, i met up with pet in town to do some shopping. and she was telling me how disgusting a common friend of ours are. obviously the source of information is facebook. again.
anyhow, what happened in the end was pet actually asked if i wanted to share the facebook account with her.
haha. mad funny. it was as though we had to pay to own an account that we even thought of sharing.
so here's a little announcement:
in the event that anyone would want to have me updated about their lives [be it whatever things you have on your shopping list, or whoever you're attached to], please update those stuff on your facebook. i'll get to know about those.
