i've been crazily busy with work and also trying to meet up with sunya as many times as i could while she was back.
hence, the lack of posts here.

basically every night when i get back home, i just feel so damn tired.
all i want to do is to flop down on my bed and sleep right away.

anyhow, i was out shopping with muay fan today.
mad happy to have almost an entire day with her.
it's been ages since we went on a shopping marathon.

we had been very efficient today, getting practically all the stuff we intended to.
because we were able to settle whatever we wanted,
we had time to go shopping for makeup!




i only got the mac kissable lipcolour in super today.
it seems very brownish looking, but when applied, it's alright.
got it at nac because it was sold out at tangs.

thumbs up for illamasqua's service.
FABULOUS is the word!

it looks disgusting in the photos.
that's because i've started using it.
and it was with my stippling brush.

the above photo is more true to the colour in reality.

so far, i think that illamasqua and nars cream blushes dry faster as compared to mac and bobbi brown.

this is my first ever guerlain blush- blush g serie noire.
the moment i saw it online way before it was launched,
i knew i HAD to have it.

if there's only one blush that i can get for the whole year,
it has to be this.
because it's simply breathtaking!!
this is also by far the prettiest looking in the pan blush i've got in my stash.

anyway, this was launched as part of guerlain's spring collection.
it's limited edition and retailing at $71.
also, it comes with a cute little pink brush hidden underneath the compact.

i had my manicure and pedicure on thursday and am going back for a fresh wash of colour on my nails on cny eve.

i suppose i'm sticking to the red because ma says it's very pretty!
by the way, the colour i'm donning on my toe and finger nails is opi colour so hot it berns.
my absolute favourite!!!!

now, back to the guerlain blush.

this is my first time purchasing an item from guerlain and i must say that my experience had been a SUPER bad one.
it was so damn bad that i emailed them to complain.

the thing is i've been eyeing this item for at least 1 month and i really had to my hands on it.
by hook or crook.

so.
i called the counters to enquire about the launch date and the price.
and you know what?
all in all i enquire at least 10 times, either by call or walk in.
and each time, i got different answers to my questions?

i seriously am not joking here.
it was the truth.
10 calls = 10 different variations of answers.

there was once when i got a SA who couldn't even speak proper english over the phone?
when i asked to be served by someone else, she asked me to call again.

i left my name and contact number 3 times, wanting to have someone calling when the launch date is confirmed or to reserve the blush.
but nobody got back to me at all.

can u imagine how fustrating that was to me, who is dying to own the damn blush??

what i concluded is that ALL or almost all their SAs have downright poor product knowledge, not willing to serve, not willing to follow up, not willing to check on details.
they just partonise you, say goodbye and end the call.

i'm waiting for an email reply.
and i'm going to persist till someone actually gets back to me on this matter.

seriously.
this is the kind of service you get from a very high end brand?

even a low end brand like mac has better trained staff.

the sad thing is, i'm now seeing the need to buy the meteorites.
but, i'm putting it off as far as i can.
because i don't want to be served by such SAs who have much lesser product knowledge than their customers.

it's been freaking long since i overslept.

now, here's the story:

i was going up the escalator when i heard a very faint "meizi".
then i turned around and was like who the hell also has this as nickname.

so.. 我看了很久, 才发现原来是在叫我!
because zei was just right beside the girl.
apparently he got his friend to call me.

it's unbelievable that after so long,
i still respond to 'meizi'.

muay fan actually did something really ridiculous and funny for me.
like 自动自发 and "forced" me to say she's super 够朋友.
hahaha.

i'm starting to realise that my blush craze is getting a tad out of control.
and the thing is i can't seem to be able to slow down!!

anyhow, i just stock take my stash.

i was like OMG.

perhaps we could have another "guess the number of blushes" thing again?

today's shopping was FUN!
i had a bag of beauty stuff at the end of the day.




i got a soap and glory flake away body polish and a too faced pink leopard bronzing powder from sephora.

the too faced pink leopard is so cute!
i'm a lover of leopard prints!!
so i got a mini version of the bronzing powder just for the leopard prints on it.

the soap and glory flake away body polish is mad cheap at $16 for 300ml.
i just tried it in the bath.

here's my first thoughts of it:

my god!
it hurts like mad, alot more painful compared to the body shop's body scrub.
and the instruction says to massage in circular motions until most of the grains are gone.

i'm like... = =
i would probably be bleeding all over then.

when i washed it off, my body felt so damn moisturized.
like SUPER.
so much so that i'm actually feeling a little sticky now.

conclusion is, i don't exactly know if i like it.
i dislike the pain factor and the stickiness.
i like the moisturized feeling.

next.
i mentioned that we bought hand creams and lip balms from etude house right?

agnes and i picked up the green tea hand creams [which is the sea seal thing in the photo],
while sunya picked up the grapefruit and peach lip balms.
also, we got bookmarks and a pen for our purchases.

i just tried the hand cream and thought it was just like that lor..
am putting it on my table so that i can quickly use it up.

i got a loccitane peony intense eau de toilette roll-on.
all thanks to agnes for tempting me.
this is small enough for you to bring around in your bag and touch up on your fragrant through out the day.

i didn't know i'm this into peony until today.
it just smells so amazing to me!
i'm in love with peony!

next up is chanel new joues contraste blush in espiegle from their new spring collection.
this is said to be limited edition.

muay fan helped me pick this up on friday when the collection was launched.
and it's such a pretty colour!!
i used it today and am absolutely loving it!

because i seem to be liking/ loving so many things.

sunya was very nice to get both agnes and i a set of philosophy skincare,
which is a brand we don't have in our local sephora.
and that's dumb.

in the set are relatively big travel sized purity [cleanser], hope in a jar [moisturizer] and when hope is not enough [serum].
aren't the product names so convincing?

fyi, philosophy is known for their hope in a jar.

lastly, the mac sir teddy in mini size which i got sunya to help me get.
okay, it was ludi who helped me get it in the end.
so many thanks to ludi as well.

but we ended up deciding that we could share the photo by cutting it.

i went into samantha thavasa to help sunya check on those kind of wallets she wanted, which were all sold out.
and i ended up buying stuff for myself?

hence i guess i get better service from her?

so back to that day.
she saw me and was showing me those new arrival stuff in the store.
and the items which i picked up were just MAD CHIO!!!

first post of 2011 and i'm here to announce that i've had such rotten luck!
only day 5 into the new year and i'm like... sway 到~~~~~

on new year day, my right eye got this solid, distinct red dot near my pupil.
we had a family dinner to celebrate ah ma's birthday that day and when bacca told me about that, my mood for celebration was totally gone.

i mean..
there's this unknown red dot in my eye!
sorry.. i'm very 怕死.

luckily, that dot started to "diffuse" the next day but still isn't entirely gone now.

my iphone screwed up for the second time.
*irritated to the max*

the first time, i got a replacement because the hardware was faulty.
and this time round, the software had a problem.

i've NEVER had any problems with my apple stuff except for this.
and the thing is, i'm so reliant on the iphone that i'm not the least bit thinking of changing my phone.

i was on my way out to service my phone.
guess what?
my shoe sole came off.
