sorry for the absence.
you've got to understand that work has started and it's getting more demanding as the weeks go by.
anyway, i've got a collective haul today.
mind you, i didn't buy these all at one go.
in fact, it was over a period of 2-3 months.
i was waiting for all my orders to arrive at my US address before shipping over here.
see.
the amount of packages dhl delivered that day.
surprisingly, ma didn't say anything at all.
1| marc jacobs pouch/ clutch in pink
this is part of the target x neiman marcus collection back in december.
i saw it in a youtube video that this was on sale and i immediately asked if sunya wanted one as well.
so i ended up getting two.
obviously the quality of this is way below the usual stuff from marc jacobs.
it's said to be a clutch, but i don't think there's any way of using it as a clutch.
it's a tad flimsy.
that said, it's still a steal.
no matter what, it's still marc jacobs.
i intend to use it as a pouch in my bigger bags.
by the way, check this out.
here's how the pouches came in the huge box.
and here's how things are after i remove ALL the packaging.
seriously, that's way too much packaging.
there were also those air sacs thingy in the box.
i mean.. it isn't like my pouches will break or get damaged right?
i didn't quite like the cuff that i got this time.
no matter how i wear it, it just doesn't look the way i had wanted it to be.
this is the second time i'm disappointed with their cuffs.
note to self: DO NOT buy another cuff from baublebar again.
anyhow, i didn't manage to get a proper picture of it.
you can click on the link above if you're curious.
also, there was this booklet of i-do-not-know-what-it's-called.
basically, you're supposed to write down your invitation code and pass one of these papers to your friends in order to get them to join baublebar and stuff.
that was just plain lame.
but, if anyone wants one of those, i'll gladly give you one.
3| tory burch double square post earrings
i was really excited about these.
i spotted them online months ago, but never had the urge to get my hands on a pair.
that was until i saw them in the store.
oh my, they were too beautiful to pass on!
did you see how cute those earring backings are?
so, i started stalking the site just to see if i can get one in a sale.
and tadah!
after waiting patiently for some time, it was finally on sale!
just so you know, it's better to buy via the tory burch app than on the site.
simply because if you do buy through the app, it's free US shipping.
4| it's a 10 miracle leave-in product
i got this from target after learning about this from this beauty youtuber called fleurdeforce.
it retails for USD 17.99.
basically, this product is from a US salon and it promises to:
1. repair dry, damaged hair
2. add shine
3. detangle
4. control frizz
5. seal and protect hair colour
6. prevent split ends
7. stop hair breakage
8. create silkiness
9. enhance natural body
10. flat iron spray and thermal protector
wow.
that's a whole lot of stuff it promise to deliver.
i can't say much, having only used it twice.
i just find it weird that it comes with a spray nozzle and it's actually a cream.
*shrugs*
5| caudalie beauty elixir
this was from feelunique.com which delivers for free worldwide.
despite saving some money by ordering online,
i think i paid around $50 for this.
yes, this is one expensive product.
anyhow, you can google and find out about this "toner".
for me, i use it when i need to freshen up or to set my makeup.
basically, i'm ADDICTED to the scent.
the first time i smelled this, i couldn't help but rolled my eyes.
almost everyone who knew about this product said that it smells divine.
but.
this isn't my definition of divine!
not when it smelled like jing feng san!
however, that jing feng san smell just started to grow on me.
it really does calm and relax my mind whenever i spritz some on my face.
it was so addictive that i had to remind myself how expensive this is in order to stop.
if you do drop by sephora, i suggest you try this and see if you like it.
but remember not to spray into your eyes or onto your lips.
the other time i accidentally sprayed some on my lips, mine had this tingling feeling.
imagine right into your eyes.
6| nail polishes
[from left to right]
essie fiji, essie where's my chauffeur, essie butler please, essie beyond cozy, opi live and let die
i went a tad overboard with these.
i realised.
fiji is my most sought after nail polish from essie.
you've got no idea how much i've been through just to get this one polish.
in the end, this didn't fit the bill.
it made my hands look tanner.
no wonder those ang mo are in love with this.
the other three essie polishes are from the winter collection.
i've only tried where's my chauffeur and i really like it.
the opi colour is from the skyfall collection.
it's the chio-est colour from that collection in my opinion.
*phew*
this post is finally done.

the app that i've been obsessed with recently is candy crush saga.
it's free for the first 35 levels and after which you've got to pay $1.28 for the next god knows how many levels.
i actually spent more than half a month trying to get past level 35.
mind you, it's at least 5 times every day for more than half a month of non stop trying.
i reckon i tried at least 100 times.
even when i was holidaying in bkk, i was still playing it whenever i had the time.
alright, so finally i completed the damn level 35 and i chose to pay so as to continue with the game.
now, here comes the problem.
i was doubled charged for the app.
no doubt i can't do much with $1.28, i was just irritated to the max that i was overcharged.
so, i emailed the company of the app and requested for a refund.
guess what?
it took 5 emails and 8 days before someone actually responded to me.
and... the best part was he directed me to itunes support in the end.
so i went on to email the itunes support team and my problem was resolved within 15 minutes.
FIFTEEN minutes.
this, is what i call fabulous customer service.
as for the candy crush saga company, thumbs up for your super duper lousy customer service.
*roll eyeballs*
by the way, i'm now stuck at level 65 and i don't have that much of determination to get past it after all those shit i got.

here are three items i bought recently.
[[ one ]]
when i saw this at jigsaw puzzle world,
it was too cute to resist.
i bought the frame in the second photo too, just that mine is in black.
[[ two ]]
i obviously preordered jay chou's new album and it came with a eco bag which i wouldn't use.
anyhow, i've yet to listen to the album.
[[ three ]]
i've officially joined the ipad family.
i never had the urge to get one until the mini was launched.
i ordered mine online and got it in a week's time.
it's definitely a lot faster than joining the long waiting list in epicentre.
after using it for a night,
i must say i LOVE it.
it's so~~~ suitable for my lifestyle.
this, is my favourite position.
that explains why a mini ipad suits me.
i can watch my dramas and serve the net while lying down.
at the same time, it has a screen big enough for me to not wear my glasses and yet not heavy that it's a chore to hold it.
lastly, something unrelated.
this is the song that i've been liking a lot recently.
i just cant get it out of my mind.
少年維特的煩惱 by 楊丞琳.
the first time i heard this song was at 蘇打綠 当我们一起走过 concert.
it's written by 青峰.
that's that.

First post of 2013
back in june, i went hong kong with ma and my bro for a short getaway.
more like for shopping.
mm... i do think i'm addicted to shopping in hong kong.
i just simply love the city.
of course, this addiction comes with a price,
freaking tired and sore legs and definitely not wallet friendly at all.
while we were there, i was pretty amazed at how great a shopper my bro can be.
not ma though.
he can practically buy ANYTHING.
just for sharing purposes,
my absolute favourite shopping mall in hong kong has to be harbour city.
hands down.
in fact i love it since my trip two years ago!
this is also my bro's favourite mall.
if i'm staying in hong kong, that's definitely the place i will be shopping whenever i get the chance.
just like how i always go to orchard whenever i need retail therapy.
you get the drift.
this place is amazingly huge and has stores from the very high end boutiques to lane crawford to a specialty store city'super.
i went to harbour city on two separate accounts and did not even manage to cover the entire place.
omg, you just have to check out city'super at level 3!
it stores stuff from beauty items to stationary to pet stuff.
it's basically a mega well covered supermarket.
i can spend a couple of hours there just to go through the wide variety of products in there.
anyhow, here's not what this post is supposed to be about.
sorry for the digression.
i'm just a tad obsessed with harbour city.
so let's get back on track.
whilst i was in hong kong, i bought a new bag.
mind you, this isn't a impulsive buy.
you can think of it as my birthday bag.
introducing my chanel grand shopping tote [gst] in black with gold hardware.
i got it in the store at harbour city.
duh?
the only thing i'm displeased about is that i wasn't given a box for it.
the SA insisted that there was never a box for gst.
apparently she thinks that i'm some ignorant shopper from you know where.
she tried to patronise me by assuring me that it would be wrapped very nicely and stuff.
and here's how nicely it was wrapped.
wow.
whatever.
i didn't want to insist on it because it would make carrying the bag back a much more difficult task.
by the way, i hand carried it back in my huge expandable longchamp bag.
it is now officially my bag carrying bag.
thank god ma didn't say anything about the price.
and that's good.
because the next one on my list is going to be slightly higher.
just that tad bit higher.
hahaha!
anyway, i've only managed to use it four times so far.
afterall this is my shopping bag as per its name.
one last shot of it.
i know my photography skills is nowhere to be found.
