Europe Day 3~
Siena and the Trive Fountain were the highlights of the day.
the slopes in Siena were quite "challenging" for us.
so you can see why bai baba had to take a little break.
i took quite a few of such shots of my brother.
mmm.. he was actually pretending to take pictures.
haha.
alright, after taking this picture, we were all gathered in the middle of the square.
then, something fabulous happened.
ma noticed that i got bird shit on my hands and my bag.
super fantastic right?
i didn't even realise until she pointed it out.
the next thing you know,
i was super calmly wiping the bird shit away.
i was even amazed by my own calmness alright?
i really think nobody else knew about it then except my family and dennis and wife.
that's only because he was the one who offered me wet tissues.
the worse part was the bird shit landed on the zipper area of the bag.
so no matter how i cleaned it,
it wouldn't be that clean.
my poor rebecca minkoff mac...
i still continued using her for the remaining days and immediately sent her for cleaning at colour wash when we got back.
i was so damn paiseh when i had to tell the lady at colour wash that my bag had gotten bird shit on it.
the description "zipper has bird shit" was printed on the receipt alright?

when i went to collect the bag,
the lady was like "wow, your bag is unique huh?"
that, is pretty true because it's not just your regular mac.
and, it has gotten bird shit on it in italy before.
super duper special okay?!
oh yes.
before you go thinking that i was the only who was so lucky,
there were 2 other people in the group who got the bird shit too.
so i guess,
we were the lucky three for the day.
alright.
enough about bird shit.
moving on to.. mmm.. lunch?

i was honestly not affected by the birdshit incident.
i still enjoyed the day and happily pestered my bro to take photos for me.

i got a surprise message today.
i was obviously very happy initially.
but after many many rounds of analyses,
the conclusion is no response from my side.
if you want a response from me,
please kindly come up with a better, more creative idea.

the cousins headed out for dinner over at big mama tonight.
kimchi soup
haemul buchu jeon| pancake with chives and seafood
dakgalbi | spicy grilled chicken
when this was served, my bro started looking for dukboki in the pot.
and the waiter actually told him 还不可以吃.
isn't that just so weird and funny?
it's so obvious that the food was raw.
hahaha!
after frying and stuff, this time round 真的可以吃了.
this tasted really good.
but there wasn't enough dukboki to go around.
when you're somewhat done with the dish,
you can get the waiter to fry some rice with the "leftovers".
we were laughing over some old kids photos of us over dinner.
we had the exact same watermelon hairstyle when we were kids,
excluding my bro of course.
what were our mums thinking back then man?
seriously.

i'm so not willing to share that hideous picture over here.
anyway.
after dinner was dessert and coffee over at drips bakery cafe.
we spent quite a bit of time there chilling and discussing about our next trip.
no doubt we meet up practically every week,
we've got like endless topics to talk about.
oh yes.
we were talking about the minions.
the bee do minion is my absolute favourite!
bee do bee do bee do bee do bee do...
it's addictive you know?
but the person who's listening to you bee do-ing will definitely get so damn irritated!

Europe Day 2~
for day 2, we were heading for Venice,
which is a place i was really looking forward to.
it was such a beautiful day.
how are you liking my slanted pose?
i think i must be really inspired by the leaning tower of pisa that i was found to be in similar positions in other photos.
that, is despite the fact that i had yet to visit it then.
i can tell you,
this isn't the slant-est pose i had for the entire trip.
my idiotic bro never once told me that i was slanting till such a ridiculous extent.
so, look forward to more alright?
anyhow, we actually witnessed a sea gull attacking and eating a pigeon.
we were so amazed to see an episode of national geography unfold right in front of us that we were all ooh-ing, woah-ing and omg-ing away.
nobody was listening to the guide at all.
of course, we had to take the water taxi.
a family "selfie" which has been super edited.
more on that later.
lunch was really good.
i love the fact that we get bread for most of the meals in italy.
i'm a bread lover!!
the crowd after lunch was just horrendous.

basically, the day was spent at venice and travelling on the road to the next destination.
as i was saying about the family "selfie" being heavily edited,
there's this app called 美颜相机.
whenever you take a picture with the app,
it will auto beautify things for you and miraculously, you have the close to perfect complexion.
because we were bored on the road,
i started telling my bro about the app.
it was like everyone in the bus would be sleeping and the two of us would be snapping away and trying not to laugh too loud over how exaggerated the effects were.
i even showed him the before and after photo which winnie took and sent me.
it was omg hilarious!!
sorry that i'm not willing to show you any before and after photos.
just download that app on your phone and play with it.
you can make your eyes ridiculously big, your face insanely small and get rid of your dark circles and blah blah blah.
that's that.
i really like venice.
