i did it again.

i just ordered a bunch of stuff from kissmakeupny.com.
all because i saw the nars blush i've been longing for mad long is finally available on the site.

anyhow, i asked muay fan whether she wanted anything and told her that i actually added 7 items to my cart in a matter of 5 minutes.

and she went "i'm shocked! that's damn chop chop of you! 不愧是 play piano one."

muay fan and i have resumed our regular thursday outing!




decided to go for durian desserts over at goodwood park.
the crepe is good if you just want loads of durian filling.
and that's my favourite mini durian ice cream cake from this season.

i can't wait to go back in june when they launch the mao shan wang durian puff!
i MUST try that out!!

pet and i went jb today.
it was sort of an impromptu trip.

as usual, we had fun shopping, eating, doing manicure and pedicures.
i didn't get too much for myself..
there wasn't many stuff that interest me.

but, check out what i got from mac.





a 150 powder brush and a brow pencil in brunette.

i've been wanting the powder brush for some time and it was really cheaper over in jb.
in fact, i spent around 100sgd on the two items which would otherwise cost me 120sgd over here in sg.
so that was a good deal!

the brow pencil is those twist and turn kind.
i thought i would stock up on this as my current traditional brow pencil is getting real short.
whats more, i don't have to sharpen this.

imagine my excitement when i saw this huge envelop waiting for me when i came back home.
seriously was on the verge of screaming!

let me share the story with you guys before the photos.
skip all these if you're not that interested in the how, where, what.

now, i came to know of this brand say, 1.5 years ago.
i saw a photo of faye wong carrying this bag in the colour T3 in a magazine.
and i was thinking of myself..
my god, why does a 天后 like her have to carry such an ugly bag?

fast forward to last year when i was in hongkong.
i saw a ton of people carrying it.
before that, i had NEVER seen any one in sg with it.
[btw, i've spotted a few goyards in sg recently.]

anyhow, because i saw it in person in hongkong,
i was like.. omg!
it's PRETTY!!

when i got back to sg, i had no clue as to how to start searching for the bag because i totally didn't know what brand it was.
i thought it was mad ugly, remember?
so why would i even bother to remember the brand name?

it wasn't until this march that i 误倒误撞 discovered the brand and there was no turning back since then.

i honestly did my research.
if you really know me well,
you ought to know that i always do my homework before committing to something.

i went through forums, youtube videos to search for people's views.
and i got to know that faye wong seems to be a fan of goyard.
besides her, hilary duff, g-dragon and top from big bang and nicky hilton are also fans of the brand.

the problem with getting this bag was that sg does not have a goyard boutique.
and.. goyard is so exclusive that it only has 12 boutiques in the world.
exclusive or not?!

in case you're wondering why i saw so many of them in hong kong,
that's because there's one boutique there.
= =

but.
thank god i read this.
this is the blog i visit everyday and the exact blog i learnt about the brand goyard.

i did what bagaholicboy recommended, which was to email the london boutique and purchase from it.
i placed my ordered last friday and it came six days later.

before you go "wah.... so fast!?",
excuse me, i paid 95pounds just for shipping alone.

i took photos of all the unwrapping process, except for one part.
obviously everything was properly packed and stuff.
so.. photo time now!




i asked the SA, Ali by the way, to remember to pack in the receipt and a paper bag for me.
and look at the one he gave me.

i let out a loud 'OMG' when i saw it.

this is very similar to lv neverfull.
some people may think that why would i want two bags of similar sizes and shapes.
mm.. i don't have an answer to that.

the material of this bag is canvas and the prints are hand-screened.




the sad thing about this bag is that the interior is just plain bare canvas.
no compartments at all.
just plain and bare.
hence, this detachable pouch is offered together with it.

well..
i don't need those compartments.
i've got my trustworthy bag organiser.

i actually wanted to customise my st louis.
but the sa said that i have to be there in person if i wanted to do that.
a tad disappointed with that..

i've been out shopping on those past 2 public holidays.
labour day with winnie and yesterday with becca, winnie and my bro.

though i really did "focus" on shopping,
i didn't get much stuff.
there wasn't much stuff that caught my eyes.

but.
we did get fitflops for our mums and ah ma and a pair of sennheiser headphones for my bro's birthday.

i swear by fitflops.
they are the most amazingly comfortable flip flops around!

do you know that whenever the four of us go out shopping,
i would be the one who is the least tired from all the walking.
in fact i totally don't feel any tiredness at all and the three of them would be like all dying already.

see!

perfect footwear for shopping!

if you do look around carefully,
you will notice that more people are having fitflops on their feet.
冒牌 or not 我就不知道.

we spent quite some time yesterday looking for my bro's birthday present because he didn't know what he wanted.
in the end, we settled for the sennheiser headphones.

i was a tad tempted to get a pair as well just so i can enjoy my classical music with it.
was recommended to get a pair from the hifi series because they are more suitable for listening to classical music.
but.. the prices are pretty classical as well.

oh well.
doesn't matter.

right now, i'm "trying out" my bro's headphones since he just returned to camp.
woo... 青峰 sounds very good with them!
these are indeed good for listening to rock music.

side note: lang lang's playing sounds not too bad too.




got this at tangs because i had a $5 beauty voucher to use.
also, i'm a little concerned about my hair recently.
so far, i tried this for 3 times and thought it's not too bad.
especially when used together with the moroccan oil.
more on that later.

i admit that i bought this merely for bits packaging.
that green is my favourite.
and i've been wanting to have it since it got featured in japanese and taiwanese magazines ages ago.

a laura mercier tinted moisturizer[tm ] in nude to replace my illuminating one.
i thought i would just go back to the orignial and could simply mix in some nars orgasm illuminator with the tm if i really wanted some kind of glow.

i notice that i'm forever prefering a tm over a liquid foundation.
it's just feels a lot lighter.

recently, i'm starting to use my laura mercier silk foundation because i've been having such horrible complexion and needed something with more coverage.

STRESS IS THE 罪魁祸首!
thank god, my stress period is going to be over soon.




next up, moroccan oil.
this is my holy grail now.
I'M SO LOVING IT!!

i came to know about it when i read that this is a favourite among some youtubers.
since kissmakeupny.com carries it, i decided to give it a try.
and now, i'm hooked!

i need to get the bigger bottle one and a moroccan oil intense hydrating/ restorative hair mask the next time i order online again.

this is a treatment oil which you apply to your damp hair.
it promises instant absorption into hair, to create an instant shine and long term conditioning without leaving residue.

i did notice that my hair feels significantly silkier and smooth than before.
the instant absorption part is true too and it does not leave the least bit of residue on your hands at all.

as for the shine part, i suppose it does make mine a tad more shiny and healthy looking.
having healthy looking hair is important especially when i'm having mine long.

the oil does have a faint vanilla smell to it which sort of dissipates after you apply it to your hair.
however, i've got no idea why, somehow my hair smells pretty good to me.

talking about good smelling hair,
when i was in jc, a senior ever told me that my hair smelled nice alright!
and i was having rather short hair then.

think.
if my hair was that short, and someone could even make that comment,
my hair must have been smelling really nice.
hahahahaha!!
