well, i suddenly thought i ought to keep count of my eyeliners.
the other day i was packing room, i came across this mac gel liner in waveline, which i totally don't remember ever buying it.

needless to say,
it's brand new.

so i texted muay fan and after much recalling, she said that she does have a faint memory of me buying it.
you see...
she sort of remembers things that i buy better than i myself.

hence, i took out all the liners i could find and counted.
seventeen in all.



oh my gosh.
how did my buys amount to that many liners??

just black liners alone,
i've got 7 blacks of different textures, different forms, different shades with different applicators.

- mac industry: black with silver shimmers, ppt
- mac buried treasure: black with gold shimmers, ppt
- mac point black: matt black, liquid
- revlon: matt black with felt tip brush, liquid
- kate: matt black, pen form, liquid
- shu uemera: black with tiny-er silver shimmers, kohl [i think]
- bobbi brown: black with silver shimmers, gel

as for blues:
- mac prussian: matt navy blue, ppt
- mac phone number: matt blue, kohl
- mac inky: matt blue, liquid
- mac waveline: can't remember what blue, gel
- bourjois: glittery blue, liquid
- shu uemera: blue with shimmers, kohl
- bobbi brown: midnight blue, creamy

the number of blacks = the number of blues.

purples:
- mac: dark and light shades of purple on each side, kohl
- mac macroviolet: matt dark purple, gel

reddish brown:

that's about all.

as for the ones i reach for most:

- mac industry
whenever i'm running late.

- mac point black
when i expect myself to be out for the whole day and can't afford to have too smudgy a liner.

- bobbi brown grahite
when i just feel like using my gel liner.

so..
it's obvious i still love blacks.
i love those very black kinda liners.
makes me look very focused and alert no matter how tired i am.

and yes.
i don't have any shades of brown.

don't have any liking for them at this point in time.
as for the future, i may start buying them when i prefer to have a more natural, soft look.

mmm.. browns are good if you want to create that 迷蒙 look.
because your eyes wouldn't look that focused and sharp with them.

a mini review of that smashbox o-glow intuitive cheek colour.

i don't quite like it.

firstly, the colour is so~~ au natural that it's a little too faint for my liking.
i might as well go without it.

it gets out of control easily.

tried the anessa sunscreen i got from japan.
i know it's available in sg, but i just have that mentality that it's cheaper to get in japan.

well.
it has this pretty nice smell for a sunscreen.
non sticky as well.
and it's somewhat glittery.
i don't mean chunky glitters.

so i suppose if you were to wear that alone,
it ought to give you that illuminating/ radiant look.

as for the body lotion right.
let me tell you.
it's one of the better ones around.
cheap and good.

as to why i'm using it..
because of my love to niap things, my knuckles got a little 破皮.
haha.
i know i so deserved that.

got recommended by winnie who got it from the doctor.
but no worries..
it can be found in watson.
though not that easily.

just can't seem to stop thinking their stuff are all very moisturising!

it's supposed to be the biggest in asia and second biggest in the world.

it's actually a clear gel that sort of turns to the colour when you blush naturally.
so.. it works on every skin tone and gives each and everyone a customized flush.
apparently it works in response to your body temperature.

i didn't exactly get this because i thought it was fabulous after trying it at the store.
i bought it simply because i foresee it to be grabbed up very soon.

hahaha.

it does sound cool and interesting..
but the effect i get on my hand is.. like that lor..
lacking the "wow" factor.

in fact.
because you're supposed to dab dab dab on your cheeks with your finger.
that poor finger doing that job will look like you used it to 染红鸡蛋.

the mac store is also in sephora.
and miss sui is working there now.

surprisingly, that mac store has the full range of style warriors collection which i didn't catch the other time i was in japan.

i got a gold eye shadow.

before today, i heard muay fan telling me that this particular gold shadow, soft force, is something really unique.
so when i saw it there today, i asked miss sui if it was that one.

and guess what?

this ang mo middle aged lady, standing in between miss sui and i answered my question first.
she said that this soft force colour is a SENSATIONAL colour which got featured in magazines.

let's digress a little.
i left town before muay fan.
she happened to go back to miss sui to get the soft force for her friend.
and she texted me and said that miss sui was like very dao when serving her.

today, she told me yet another "SUI!"

but well..

so if miss sui does give you attitude, then perhaps try this aunty looking MA.
apparently she's very nice and friendly though she looks like wise.

be warned.
her product knowledge isn't that good.

back to today.

we had lunch at ion itself.
tried this tonkatsu ginza bairin at basement four.

i had their katsu curry.
though their curry isn't as thick as i like mine to be, its still very woo lala!

muay fan had their katsu chicken don.
amazingly, their chicken breast taste nowhere like breast meat.
totally no siap siap feeling.
and we are 99% positive that it's chicken breast!

on average, one would be spending about $15 for a meal there.
for something which tastes not bad.

the only thing is they got to learn to cook faster.
took relatively long for the food to be served.

oh.
something interesting.

this couple sitting next to us..
the guy said to the waitress "first day huh? congratulations!"
and the lady followed suit and congratulated that waitress too??

i overheard that and i immediately stuffed my mouth with rice so that i wouldn't laugh out loud.

there's this ice cream store that you just got to try.
it's very nice!
but not gentle on pockets.

it's the marvelous cream at basement four as well.
mm.. it has a outlet at citylink, but i've never come across that.
i don't hang around there huh..

according to muay fan, the store always has a queue.
just for ice cream man.

anyhow, the one at ion wasn't exactly ready to sell most of their stuff.
it only has this ice cream cake from hokkaido i think.
so we settled for that.



it's pretty small and costs $5.90.
muay fan was like "woah! super big!" in a sarcastic way.

and after opening it,
she exclaimed again "now even bigger!!"

hahaha..
i laughed like crazy over that man.

so please don't get a shock over the price you've got to pay for a small tub of ice cream cake.

both the flavours we tried are equally nice.
i love ice cream which has that strong diary taste and that very packed feel.

was telling muay fan how i thought eating berries stuff makes one appear feminine.
so.. if i really do end up liking all sorts of berries in the future,
it's probably because my mindset drove me in that direction.

yeup.

i'm sort of trying to pull away from chocolate.
unless it's dark chocolate which i can hardly resist.
to me, having chocolate is like.. pretty manly.

i was pretending to be stupid and asked muay fan what about durians.

she said i ought to shut up about liking durians and just quietly, secretly indulge in them.

and instead of me thanking her, she thanked me for helping her clearing out space in her room.

and she blames that on me.

now for something on the funnier side.
i gave an elmo hp chain to one of my students and an elmo keychain to her sister.

surprisingly, they really liked them.
especially when they are like in upper sec now.

what happened was:

the younger sister who got the keychain said that if she were to hang the keychain on her bag,
it may get stolen in school.

hahaha.
omg.
freaking funny.
who the hell wants to steal a keychain man!

one week after i gave them those stuff,
the elder sister showed me that she hung that elmo hp chain onto her phone.

so i was like "ooo.. you hung it. that's great!"

then.
she told me that she went hunting for elmo themes for her phone.
so now her phone is elmo themed.

hahaha..

that's not all.
two weeks later, she brought her school bag down for me to see.
and there was this approx 15cm big elmo soft toy hanging on it.

interesting huh?

anyhow, i don't exactly intend to continue updating the japan trip for now.

i started to cry when i saw certain photos.

got him a teether and a drinking mug.

i love giving babies drinking mug.
gave one to hugo the other time as well.

it was a pretty mega party at my ah ma's place.

but we did try to compensate by bringing him out for walks.

i was quite sway today.
hard to put it down in words.
in short, i "fell" into a puddle of dirty rainwater.
as in only my right foot fell into it.

gross!

anyway, i tried using my jill stuart eye jelly the way muay fan suggested today.
to pat a tad on my eyeliner.
great effect man!
makes my matte blue liner glittery.

now i should stop buying glittery eyeliners.
since all i have to do is to pat the eye jelly over whatever liner i'm using.
somemore can control how glittery i want it to be!

and and..
the jelly seems to be able to prevent the liner from smudging.

super worth the money!

the colours are so~~ gorgeous!

these days, i'm going all crazy over 美白 again.
especially my neck!
ever since i got 晒黑 in japan, it's like my neck became a few shades darker than my face.
previously maybe 2 shades darker, now maybe 4 shades darker!

got really upset when i was telling muay fan that 我很积极的在做美白 and pointed out my neck to her.
you know how she reacted?

she 猛点头地说:" 嗯.. your neck is really darker."

gosh.
my heart simply cui diao okay!!!
杀了我吧!!!

the good thing now is the neck portion is 1 shade darker only.

and that's after slapping on whitening essence, whitening cream and sunscreen for a couple of weeks faithfully!
but nvm..
it's worth it!

let's just see if i can make it become the same shade as my face!

perhaps after sometime, i'll start slapping on whitening moisturizer and sunscreen on my entire body as well.
because it is like so much darker than my face!!

muay fan and i decided that we simply can't miss the sale, so we went down yesterday afternoon.
better to be late than never.

was like terribly late because i couldn't fix that flasies on to my right eye.
damn irritating.

was so madly late that it was until i was on the bus,
did i realise that i didn't do my brows.
how fabulous.

at least can cover up!!

anyhow, we were like really afraid that there wouldn't be much good buys left for us since we went after like the sale has already started for a good few days.

got a lip brush because i personally do not apply my lipstick directly onto my lips.

however the strawberry bliss was yummy!
damn nice after you let it melt a bit.

while eating, we were gossiping as usual.
then she asked me "so how's your leonardo dicarpio?"

hahahaha!
almost 喷饭 man!
my other friends would only refer him to leonardo, never leonard DICARPIO.
so it felt very funny!

and this leonardo shit went on for the whole night.
super entertaining!

another thing that we kept entertaining ourselves with was that i would start imitating HJ out of the blue.
like this:
" 嗯. ipo da."

hahaha.
and muay fan would go "wah! 很相 leh!!!"

oh well.

i saw these SSO posters filled train.
gosh.
it's really time to start to educate people about music.

there were like explanation of terms like movement, the different kind of periods, some brief knowledge of some more well known composers.

anyhow, i'm sort of "playing cheat" now.
putting the piece that i'm supposed to be learning on repeat mode.
so that i can try to rely on hearing instead of reading every single notes.

there's this a plain black one, 2 hello kitty ones and a forever 21 one.

seems to me that i'm the only one among my friends to use 环保袋 frequently.
