met up with muay fan this evening for some shopping in town.
we had our dinner at that japanese place beside dunkin donuts in ion.
the sweet scrimp roll is nice!
the scrimps were very 扎实 and fresh.

as usual, we had to go sephora for some cheap thrill.
targets this round were makeup forever aqua cream and amazing cosmetics concealer.
too bad.
we got neither.
the aqua cream were very pretty, but way too shimmery for our liking.
next up was tangs because i wanted to back to mac for a lipstick.
the lady who attended to us was really nice.
i told her i only wanted to back to mac and yet she offered to help.
i mean she didn't have to go all the way and santitise the lipstick before i could try it on and stuff,
afterall she doesn't get a single cent of commission.
yesh..
she's zonia by the way.
anyhow, i eventually settled for syrup which is described as a cloudy pink colour.
it's not exactly nice looking in the tube, but it definitely looks better when applied onto your lips.
muay fan had to get some stuff from her friend's brother,
so we cabbed down to his house which was near jalan kayu.
damn.
the queue at the taxi stand was long and there weren't many cabs.
and we only managed to get one after trying to call for at least 5 times.

so, since we were super near jalan kayu,
we went to the famous prata house for supper.
why the hell was there whipped cream on the milo dinosaur??
as if that's not bad enough, there was some strawberry thingy on the cream
gosh!
gross to the max!
we decided to heck and just stirred the cream and the strawberry thingy together with the drink.
and our milo dinosaurs became strawberry mile dinosaur.
mad gross!
our kosong and mushroom pratas.
the mushroom prata was like overflowing with mushrooms.
i bet there's at least half a can of mushrooms in there.
no kidding man.
muay fan's friend said that that prata place serves the nicest tissue prata,
so we tried it!
mm...
this is my first time eating tissue prata,
so i can't say it's the nicest around..
but..
it tastes superb when you have it with sugar!
all in all, i think the pratas that place served were nice,
but they were expensive!
guess how much that prata supper costed?
$15.40!
not cheap right??
btw.
i still prefer the prata house at thomson road to this jalan kayu one.
it's nicer, to me.
it's cheaper.
it's nearer, to me.
anyway, when we were having our supper,
there were people watching worldcup nearby and everytime they went 'GOAL!!!!!',
muay fan and i would be like so curious and stuff.
so it turned out to be germany vs england.
and according to mauy fan's dad, germany is england's greatest enemy.
greatest indeed.

today was jayden's first birthday party.

JB '加卡巴' trip
last friday, i went jb for a day with my family.
basically it was more of an eating spree.
when we go out together, we're more interested in eating than in shopping.
anyhow, there wasn't much to buy.
except for food!
hahahaha.

i told you we're more interested in food.

at this coffee shop near city square which sells nice wanton mee!!
this makan programme by adrian pang and michelle chia visited it.
real nice and CHEAP!
after brunch, we shopped around in city square for a couple of hours.
and after say 2 hours, we stopped for some desserts at a mini place in city square that sells some sort of hk stuff.
some of the stuff which we ordered.
bobo chacha which was nice!
mang-go 大餐 plus french toast for us youngsters.
i think we ordered like mango pomelo, mango pudding, mango sago and mango sago with mixed fruits.
conclusion is they were ALL the same.
hahaha.
not exactly happy that i got the smaller bowl alright.
actually not because we were all getting sick of our mango 大餐 towards the end and we shared everything.
well..
my bro was supposed to be having his thumb upright to show that he's satisfied with his larger portion.
but somehow his thumb ended up looking crippled.
hahaha.

in the late afternoon, we got to holiday plaza by cab.

so we ended up rotting in kfc.
cabbed back to city square for dinner at kim gary!
honestly by the time we finished dinner, we were all almost on the verge of exploding.
but what's going jb without eating baskin robbns?
so we all stuffed ourselves with baskin robbins!
muahaha!
got quite a few pair of contact lenses at holiday plaza coz they were like mad cheap in jb.
going to either stock up myself or get huat jiujiu to stock up for me when he goes jb the next time round.
see..
not much shopping.
but we did get bags of titbits back.
think we spend like at least 150sgd in this titbits shop in city square.
tam jiat + kiasu!
hahahaha!
that's that for our one day trip.
as for hk day 4 and day 5, i would try to clear them this week.
at the very most, they have to be done by next week!

so she suggested i consider the new limited edition nars multiple tint.
she's really so damn nice.
coz she volunteered to go down to sephora to swatch them for me since i can't seemed to make up my mind as to what shade to get.
no doubt i've obviously searched for swatches online,
one more set of them would probably make it easier for me to decide which one to go for.
especially when she's about the same shade as me.

well..
i've been rather busy these days.
though i did go kbox with my bro, winnie and bacca.
yea.
had a great time but ended up with a bad sounding voice.
anyhow, i'm going to start "researching" on laura mercier.
didn't do that the other time before i went hong kong because cosmetics weren't the highlight of the trip.
but this time, i think it is.
so, i need to start planning what i want.

2. a creme cheek colour brush [the only angled cheek contour brush i've got from them sure doesn't disappoint!]

this is what happened that day when my cousins, friend and i took shared a cab to the airport.
i was sitting in the front seat,
so naturally when we reached the airport,
i paid for the cab fare while the rest of them scrambled out of the cab to get our luggage out of the boot.
so when i was done with paying and had gotten out of the cab,
we stood there for a good whole 15 seconds at least.
i went "做么? 走啦!", thinking why the hell none of us were walking into the airport.
then they pointed out "your luggage."
"sorry sorry!!"
i actually had my luggage right at the spot it was left.
i must be thinking that i had my bro around to order.
ha.
usually, i would be like "boy... 走啦! 快点!" in that 不耐烦 tone and he would be in charge of all those luggage and stuff.
