was woken up real early yesterday.

the reason:
bai baba bought a $300+ suckling pig to 拜拜 at home.
no special reason except to thank god for some stuff.

it's ridiculous to buy such a huge pig.
you know.. those that people buy when they're marrying..

i ended up having to clean up after he cut it..
and the whole kitchen floor was damn dirty and oily..
had to like mop FOUR times alright.


what's more..
i had to "deliver" some of the offerings to ah ma's hse.
at the same time, i lent ah ma my blusher and blush brush coz she was telling me that she wants to doll up for the wedding on saturday.
hahaha..

i'm so nice alright.
i even brought 2 different shades of blush for her to choose okay.

and and and.
i even helped her paint her toe nails red.
hahahaha!

anyway, she was asking me if i needed to bua the blush myself or if ma needs them..
and i told her ' no worries! i've got plenty.'

well.. at least now my friends ought to know why i'm hiao.
it's because my mother is super hiao and i'm always complaining how she loves to target my stuff..

for the very first time, we both wore dresses out for shopping.

lunch buffet at greenhouse was superb.
my craze for prawns has been declining, most prob because i had been stuffing myself with them.
but the prawns i had today revived my passion for them once again.
haha.

the cooked food was great as well.
it's like those typical buffet you go to serves fish in those fillet forms.
but at greenhouse, they serve the entire fish.

food that i think deserves a try:
- chilled prawns
- pork shoulder
- chocolate chip ice cream
- some vegetarian mushroom
- some chocolate mousse cake
- BREAD!!

they've got like quite a few varities of bread there.
seeing the spread excites me!
i love love bread.
esp those deng ko ko type.

seriously... to a bread lover,
i really think there's something different about the bread they serve.
very 香.

anyhow, we took a couple of dumb/retarded photos there..
but they're with pet..
so let's hope she sends them to me soon.

town is my shopping paradise.

let's talk about my dream bag.
话说the other day i was out with winnie, i went into that X brand boutique and got snubbed by this damn SA of theirs.

it isn't true that i didn't intend to buy anything there.
wanted to give in to my urge to get the pair of earrings i wanted.
but because of her wonderful service, i obviously didn't even want to part a cent.

the whole incident made me have a super negative impression of X and their stuff.
so i left for LV, thinking to myself i'm so not going to buy 他们家的东西.

also.
i will never forget her name.
it's sharon.

back to today.
i've more or less decided that i shall get a LV bag instead.
so was asking pet for her advice as to which size i ought to get blah blah.

she asked me to show her the X bag that i wanted initially.
because of the super bad experience, i wasn't very willing to go initially.
but... heck man.

this time.
the experience was totally different.

when asked to see their classic shopping tote,
this SA didn't even give me their catalouge to view to like tell her specifically which bag i wanted to see in real.
she took out like 4-5 different shopping totes for me to see.

best is.
there was this other shopping tote that comes in 4 colours and she took all the colours out for me to view.
so, 9-10 bags in all for me to choose.

she just waited aside while pet and i tried on the bags and stuff.
with smiling face somemore.

when i apologised for making her take out so many bags [which i seriously didn't, i only intended to see ONE bag], she just kept assuring me that it was totally fine and not to worry about that.

you tell me.
isn't this just the kind of service that one deserves at such high end boutiques???!

rest assured.
when the time comes for me to buy that bag, ie. save enough money, i will get it from her.
she so damn deserves the comission.

enough about this dream bag.
my dream of getting it before his birthday is so out of question when it's like damn ex.
plus there's a 90% chance that i'm going for a holiday soon.

we shall see.

next up is the mac hello kitty collection.
checked it out at tangs and i spent $169 on a mere 3 items.
the lip conditioner, mirror and brush set.
the brush set is freaking nice and irresistible!

the launch date is 6th march, so i just preordered them today.
apparently the bracelet, which is god damn ugly, is already sold out.
wth.

the good thing is i found a very nice and 大喇喇 MA by the name of susan today.
very helpful and stuff..

those information she provided were pretty good and i even asked her if hans is still working at mac.

hahaha.

i've already gotten her to reserve the pressed powder in kitty kouture [which is like a more expensive collection].
that's like going to be $133 with swarovski crsytals on the compact and a refill.
sounds very tempting.

话说, we had a family gathering over dinner last night.
considered a massive one, with just 3 absentees.

actually my family was the one planning for the dinner.
and super great.
ma didn't plan that well that we two had to sit with a whole bunch of cousins in their teens.

hardly have any 互动 with them for like some freaking many years.
but anyway..
it wasn't that bad.
listening to their conversation made me laugh out loud like mad.

it's like given that i don't really charp them, i would just eat my dinner quietly at the table.
but their conversation were like so amazing that i just had to laugh at some instances.

here's a part of the conversation, making fun of the youngest cousin at the table.
apparently he's like quite curious about some really ridiculous stuff.
eg:
- he would ask this cousin who's going to the army soon if he's worried about going in there and if there's really going to be ghosts there.

yong chang[17 yrs]: jian wen.. 你真的怕鬼啊?

jian wen [14 yrs]: -after some thoughts- 有一点.

hahahaha.
so hilarious can??
he meant his words lor.
like truly.

best is he even asked that yong chang before if he felt scared about waking up at 5am in the morning to go school.

though i'm now more customed to calling him tobby,

as i was saying, tobby super seldom gets to go for walks,

we took turns to run with him.

eventually, we were so tired that we just had to sit down at the playground.

话说, this is something emily recommended like ages ago to deb.
something which can lighten scars pretty effectively.

apparently, according to muay fan, there was a big fuss over this rose hip oil in cozycot sometime back.

deb said that her scars lightened and her legs seemed to be fairer now.

that's after atmost 2 weeks of usage.

now for my review..

i had these 2 scars on my hand, all thanks to winnie.
she went crazy and scratched me on purpose.
ok. i did provoke her.
and it was so super duper painful that i 马上飙泪.

my god.
is she like some kind of animals?
faint.

anyway.
that happened in dec.
and till now one of the scar is like still not exactly healing..
as in can't see it closing up.

seriously..
as we get older, don't you find that things get harder to heal?
like a damn mosquitoe bite will leave a scar behind for god knows how long.

anyway, two days ago, i bought the renew rose hip oil and as of this morning,the wound is like healing and lightening at the same time.
as for the other scar, it's almost disappearing.

神奇or not?!

the best part is you can apply anywhere on you body, etc face, legs, hands blah.
i'm using like 1 big fat drop it on those acne scars on my face, scars on my hand and leg.

but please remember that you aren't supposed to apply them on your acne/ pimples.
apparently will worsen the problem.

as for the the smell,
it reminds me of those freshly plucked leaves.
somewhat along that line..

besides that, on the box, it states that the rose hip oil is effective in the treatment of:
- scars
- uneven skin tone
- wrinkles
- ageing skin
- skin cell repair

because he had the highest score during the trial yesterday.

the other day, he was telling me that he was going for the trial and i was like... are you sure you can make it?

and he proudly told me that he got 3 strikes consecutively that very day he went to "practise" for the trial.

next.
i'm like supposed to meet bacca to go choose some materials for scrapping at 12.30pm and i called her at 11am to get her to wake up.

i no longer rely on my "storage" outside the house as my neighbour recently rented his house to this whole bunch of at least 15 china people.
that makes me think putting my stuff there are like so endangering.

i'm saying those who live at my neighbour's place are.

anyhow.

the 巧 thing is that debbie wanted to get a longchamp bag.
having read the forum, we found out that the new season colours just came in and those hito colours are like literally flying off the shelves.
seems like many want to get hold of those hito colours.
so we had to chiong down to sort of grab hers.

but the thing is..
i myself wanted a small longchamp bag in navy.
think it's really nua enough for me.

don't belittle the bag.
though small, it still can fit umbrella, water bottle, any long wallet you have blah blah.
this means that i can simply dump my stuff in it and go out.

it's more of a "craving" for me and yet can be a necessity.
but having just bought a bag, i thought perhaps i should just kiv the longchamp first.

first, we went to the one at taka, but there wasn't colours of our choice.

then followed by the one at paragon.
paragon has the navy colour i wanted..
but still i thought i should kiv.

next we went to centrepoint and guess what?
robinson is having this traffic stopping sale and has this 7% GST absorbed sale till 15feb.

WAH!!
7% man!!
not exactly a lot, but enough as an excuse for me to succumb to my craving.
hahaha.

was telling pet last night that i would call her if i'm very tempted to buy the bag and her job is to like stop me from buying.
though she didn't hurl vulgarities at me as promised, she answered my call by chanting "don't buy, don't buy, don't buy!"

but guess what happened eventually??

yesh.
i got the small, short handled one in navy and deb the medium, short handled in kiwi green.
hahaha.

the damage done is quite a little, but still bearable.
so.. that's great.

it was also that day when i bumped in my tuition kids and piano kids while shopping.

reunion dinner was at 小叔叔's house.
to my greatest relief, we had buffet this year.

let me tell you..
last year when we tried steamboat for the first time,
i nearly died of starvation.
it's crazy to have so many people crowding round the table and i only managed to eat less than 10 items with that bit of rice.

so.
without being aware that we were to have buffet this year,
i cleverly went to stock up cup noodles back at home.
even bai baba asked me to stock up his share ok.

yes.
so the buffet idea rocks like crazy.
kudos to whoever who made that suggestion.

steamboat idea is only workable in my ah ma's hse.
where you can just have your butt glued there the entire night without having to 让位 to whoever who has yet to eat.

sadly..
due to the passing of my great grandma[ my maternal grandfather's mother],
we can't have any major forms of celebration over at ah ma's hse.
eating steamboat is one..

back to renunion dinner..

my uncle decided to be really generous this year.

he doesn't look that cute..
but his actions are quite cute.

at least she told alton that we are 阿姨 instead of aunty.
阿姨 sounds a lot younger to me.

after i saw alton, i realised that there's like a pattern.

which means my son next time very likely will look like my bro!

after which, went to my great grandma's house.
this one is my maternal grandmother's mother.
very confusing hor.

this side of the family loves to take pictures like crazy.
we are forever taking family photos in the very prim and proper manner.

i see my this great grandma about 2-3 times a year..
and she is like starting to be a little gong gong already.

firstly, the movie wasn't really nice.

secondly, it's so long.
by the time it ended, it was like 1+am.

my bro and i went to join 阿姨 and the rest for dim sum.
after which we simply went back to ah ma's place.
our favouritest place.
to rot the day away.

hahaha.

can just nua everywhere.
on the bed, on the sofa, on the floor.

played mahjong and i was the biggest winner!

from 初四 to 初六, i was like always on the phone trying to settle stuff.

i was supposed to help bai baba order hampers for his clients.
so we ordered from hummings as usual.

by right, hampers should reach the clients before cny.
but by left, this particular client, somemore the most important one, didn't receive.

so i had to call hummings up to check what the problem was.
that was on 初四.

and after some checking, this carol told me that the hamper has already been delivered on 23/1 and was signed for.

but after bai baba checked with this client,
he said that they already closed for cny on 23/1.
how could anyone sign for the hamper when the office was closed?

very good.

called back hummings and told that to this carol.
and insisted that i get a copy of the signed receipt from their end via fax.
she told me it was difficult as the receipts are in the warehse.

i was like..
wth.
i don't care.
i MUST have it.
no way i'm going to pay for it if i don't get that copy.

she said she would check and get back to me.

初五..
i had to spend the whole morning calling starhub and linksys hotline.
there was no wireless network in my house.

it turned out the problem lied in the router.
damn man.
it's so damn pek chey having to go through the troubleshooting procedures over the phone.
if given the choice, i would rather a technician come over to my place to do all those stuff.

i was so tied up doing all these troubleshooting things that i forgot about the hamper issue.

so i called again on 初六.
guess what?

this idiotic carol was like blur like crazy like she has never got to know about my case before.
somemore stupid enough to ask me if i want them to try sending the hamper again.

please.
for what?!

ended up cancelling it.
which was exactly what i wanted in the very first place.
and they just refused to let me cancel initially.

got really pek chey and stuff.
updated bai baba and he too got very pek chey.

and..
he called that carol up and gave her a big scolding.

you know what happened last year?
one of the hampers also couldn't be sent out..
coz whenever they tried to send it, they couldn't reach/contact our client.
and in the end..
they sent it to my house.

what the hell right?
you mean we pay to buy a hamper for ourselves??

moral of the story.
give up totally on hummings and perhaps try noel next year instead.
what a flop company man.

alright enough of complaints.

some would have known that i'm trying my very best to save up.
for a bag.
hahaha.
shall not specify as well because my interest for this bag may die down..

i may just give up on saving.

and the other thing is.
sunya and pet both said that they don't like it.
only muay fan said it's nice.

i don't care.
i must save.
i love the bag.

now for the contradicting thing..

on one hand, i'm saving for the bag.
on the other, i went window shopping and ended up reserving a small bag.
good right?
hahahaha.

but so far..
only got compliments for that bag.

the SA said that the bag should arrive in around 2 weeks.
feeling excited about it.

a small bag with a much smaller price tag compared to my dream bag.

when i've collected the bag, then perhaps i will post pictures of it.

winnie and i went to hunt for bacca's bdae present.
her 21st is coming soon.

and we kept suggesting nonsense to her.
eg:
1. 21 mini pens [ she prefers mini pens to normal pens. ]
2. juicy couture keychain [ when she's so~~ not the least bit girly at all.]
3. 21 small small items like piggy banks, cups, mini pens?
4. makeup set
5. swarovski necklace

hahahaha.
i'm surprised she didn't box us.
