use this to set my makeup in case i look too powdery.

i thought i needed this and it sort of works.

besides these beauty buys,
i got pair of wedges and pre ordered jay chou's newest cd.
can't wait for it to be released on the 14th next month.




anyhow, it was kinda spontaneous.
winnie and i went to watch ip man 2 today.
i didn't watch the 1st one because this kind of movies is just not my cup of tea.

but.
man!
i love ip man 2!!!
and donnie yen is FREAKING man despite his name.

also worth a mention is that 黃曉明 is starring in the movie.
another shuai ge!
but i still think donnie yen is more shuai than him in this movie.
hahaha.

highly recommend this movie simply because of donnie yen!

so like i said in the previous entry,
i met up with pet in the evening.
but the thing was she didn't manage to get time off and i had to shop around alone for a while.

anyhow, here's the 重点.
we went to thread our brows at rupini!
that's at midpoint orchard, if i got the name right.
aiya.. it's just in the building next to john little, opposite somerset station.

this was the first time i ever threaded my brows.
previously i've always have mine plucked.

so.. i was pretty nervous about threading them today.
here's my review on brow threading.

basically i LOVE the results.
it's MEGA clean!
when i say MEGA clean, i mean MEGA.

threading gets rid of like 90% of those stray hairs while plucking probably just barely hit 80%.

the shape was not bad, just that it's a tad on the thin side.
oh well.
the next time i go, i will just insist on having more natural looking ones.
so it isn't too bad.

now.
for the pain factor.
there and then, the pain factor is definitely lower than plucking.
and the process is a lot faster as well.

BUT.
damn shit.
the aftermath was quite bad.
my eyelid areas had this stinging feeling which lasted for about 5 minutes or so.

oh.
we had it done at $7!
cheap right?!

yes.
for those mega clean and neat brows, i'm willing to go back to rupini regularly to maintain them.
except that maybe i can consider sticking two plasters on my brows after each session for that 5 minutes.

haha!

sorry if i sort of scare you off with that.
it's just that the pain is a little stinging and naggy.
but rest assured, it's all worth it.

dhc eyelash tonic.
you can get one at watson.
price would be around $26.90 or something.

honestly.
after using this, not on a very regular basis even,
i find that my lashes are fuller than before.
but i doubt it really does help you lengthen your lashes.

given the price, i think it's really affordable and value for money.
for me, there isn't any point in investing in a very expensive lash product especially when you're supposed to be replacing them every 3-6 months.
and definitely, they aren't finished by the time they expire.

also, since i'm sort of ditching eyeliners and hopping over onto the mascara wagon now,
i thought i ought to start conditioning them now.

the only thing is, i have to remember to apply them before sleep.
ha.

anyhow, got to fly.

and finally im satisfied with how my fringe is looking.

the question now is whether to buy a bag you like or to buy a bag worth investing in.

it's been about a week or so since i last painted them.
and now they are donning mac peppermint patti, which is kinda sickly green in colour.

阿姨 bought my bro this latest 蜡笔小新 dvd.
i was damn bored at home the other day,
so i watched it.

actually some of the stories in there are really funny.
i'm actually being reminded of one right now and i can't stop laughing!

sunya got me this makeup forever microfinish hd blush in caught in the act, it's a raspberry colour btw, for birthday.
it's a new product which was launched not too long ago in the us.

sg will only be launching in a few months time.

can't wait to collect that and opi by sephora in metro chic from ludi when she's back on may day.

you totally have got no idea what i went through just to get my hands on these tickets.

woke up at 8.30am to be on standby mode,
all ready for sistic to start the sales at 9am.

and damn.
the whole server was damn damn laggy.

basically, both mark and i were supposed to get 6 tickets in all.
2 for him and 4 for me.

after like half an hour of trying,
debbie took time off to go to the sistic counter at novena square to try her luck.
but the queue was hardly moving and long.

in the meantime, mark tried his luck on the net,
and i kept pressing the redial button on my phone to get through sistic hotline.

anyhow.
the conclusion is we got 3 separate pairs of tickets and that's after 2.5 hour of non stop clicking of the refresh button.

it's mad crazy alright.
and today is the first day of priority sales for ocbc card holders.
luckily debbie has got the ocbc card.
without her, we can all jolly forget about snatching the tickets and 乖乖滚去买黄牛票.

and yes.
it's like most of the tickets are sold out already.
except for some single seat tickets.

i'm not too sure if sistic did leave some seats to be released after this priority sale is over.
and deb heard someone saying that there's going to be a 加场 on the 23rd which, i sort of believe.

well well.
i feel as though i've used up all my energy for the day.
damn damn tired now!
it feels like i've just been to war, fighting for all these tickets.

i've got far too many and storing them is a huge issue!

basically we had a fabulous dinner.

ebi avocado mayonnaise- recommended by the waitress.

foie gras lettuce- yet another recommendation by the waitress.
it isn't photogenic, but OMG!!!

i can say this is the best dish we had for the night.
we love it so much that we have decided to order one plate each the next time we're going there, which is like any day within the next 2 weeks.






buta kimuchi- which is like pork kimchi claypot rice.
it looks small on the outside.
but it's actually a decent portion.

we're most probably skipping everything except for the foie gras the next time we head there.

something else worth mentioning,
the waitress, who atteneded to us, gave us really great service.
very friendly and all.
thumbs up for her too!

we had such a great dinner there that we were literally planning what to order for the next visit.
hahahah.

and super greedy!

also, they're having this 30% off for all diners in conjunction with some anniversary, till 12th april.

we intended to have a drink at one of the bars at chijmes.
but we were too full, so we aborted the plan and went shopping at raffles shopping centre instead.

we were at anbc store when i was really attracted to the music being played at that cd shop.
the sound system [or whatever you call it] just simply lures you into the store.

anyhow, this classical cd was being played at that moment.
and damn.
i was really convinced to buy it.

so, the lady showed me the cd.
but, i decided that mm.. it's definitely not going to be as shiok when i listen to it at home.
because cmon... the store has this really really really fab sound system.

hence, i placed the cd back again, determined not to "fall for the trap".
but.
after walking less than 10 steps, away from the shelf, i found myself u-turning me to get a copy.

why?
the artist really sounded like he was playing with his life.

alright.
it's really hard for me to describe.
it's just damn touching.

and yesh.
it's really not THAT nice sounding at home.
sian.

BUT.
the cd is still worth buying!

pet said that after i purchased it,
two other people also enquired about the music being played in the store.

seriously.
i've never come across such good sound system [i'm real bad at describing this kind of stuff] in any other cd stores.
that cd shop is by far the best.

wouldn't it be fab if i have that at home also?
it would be such a 享受...

i really feel like going back to that cd shop just to listen to whatever they're playing in it.
but.
i'm so afraid i will end up bringing those cds home.
simply have got no space to store them anymore!!

the shu umuera cream eyeshadow in white is something i got a few days back.
wanted it to apply on my lids to sort of brighten them up.
no worries, it totally blends into the skin after applying it.




look at this little japanese doll!
i got it at precious moments today and it's a keychain.
it's like extremey cute to me!

used to have a similar keychain in the past.
but it got all scratched and disgusting looking.
so i replaced it with my melody one[ which i'm "pieceing" with pet].

received these essie nail lacquers in the mail.
they're mink muffs [some sort of purplish brown] and tart deco [some coralish colour].
