you've got no idea just how freaking happy i am right now!!!!!

i just bought 3 tickets for this loud festival concert which is showcasing my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITES!!
周杰伦 and 苏打绿!!!!!!!!

prior to the sales,
i was like.. i need to wake up early to be on stand by mode.

but guess what?
i overslept by 1/2 hr.
my damn alarm didn't go off.
i literally jumped out of bed!

luckily, there didn't seem to be a mad rush for the tickets,
so i have time to choose my seats,
apparently, there isn't much advertising going on for this concert.

sunya is finally back for good.
took the chance to go shopping with her for almost the entire day.
it was just plain SHIOKNESS.

we were at sephora when there was a "roadshow" for juicy couture new fragrance.
the sa got us to spin the wheel and sunya got a tub of popcorn and i got a sample vial.





it's pink popcorn!
surprisingly, it turned out to be MAD nice!
mad sweet and mad crispy!

if you do get the chance,
go spin the wheel for popcorn!

got this handphone strap, not for my phone though.
the bad thing about iphone is that you can't hang nonsense on it unless you've got this modified screw of some sort.

anyhow, the service i got from the sa today was probably the best i've come by so far.
he's joseph from the taka boutique.

he was honest enough to tell me that a key ring wouldn't be suitable for my purpose and even suggested i could go look at other brands like bogetta.
and we did.

but guess what?
he came after us into the bogetta store to suggest that i could consider getting a handphone strap instead.

honestly.
how expensive can the damn handphone strap be?
he didn't have to work so hard just to earn the pathetic commission right?
but yet he was super patient, coming up with suggestions and digging for new piece for me.

definitely appreciated his service.

the black pouch from muji holds all my skincare, whereas the apple printed bag houses all my makeup.
the apple one is actually a freebie from clinique,
but i bought it on ebay.

anyway, the apple bag is HUGE.
this is going to be in my carry on bag.
don' be misled.
i only chose to use this because it's very easy to find stuff and it can fit my long handled brush.



there's a hook at the top of the pouch.
you can hook it onto those hooks which you can put on a mirror or wall.

i apologise for the lack of post here.
i've been REALLY hard at work and EQUALLY hard at shopping.
you'll get what i mean later on.

anyhow, work has been PLAIN MADNESS for the past 1 week or so.
that is totally not anticipated.
basically, i fall asleep the moment my head touches the pillow every night.
that's how tired i am.

nevertheless, i still managed to squeeze in time for my weekly shopping since the start of the GSS.
the ironic thing is i don't seem to be able to spot or get any good deals.
super wth right?

here's evidence of how HARD at shopping we were.

we've got five stradivarius bags.



week three.
this was the craziest shopping trip.
because we had to get jayden's birthday present and ah gong's fathers' day present.
and both their stuff were heavy!

needless to say, we bought a ton of stuff.
of course i wouldn't be showing every single thing i got.
here are some which i think are really worth a mention.




koyudo brushes from isetan!

now, i read about this koyudo brand having a stall at isetan orchard b1.
so out of curiosity, we went to check it out.
i didn't have any intention of buying,
but i ended up paying for three.
= =

first up, the short light pink handled brush is a liquid foundation brush.
believe it or not, this is my first liquid foundation brush.
it's around $50-$60.
i can't remember.

next is the one with the longest handle.
it's a flat top meant for the application of blush.
this is around $45.

just like how i like to collect blushes, i like to collect and try different types of blush brushes.
just so to see how application of blush differs.

lastly, the heart shaped brush.
it's a cleansing brush and it works up LOADS of foam.
also, it feels mad comfortable when you brush it against your skin.

this is either $37 or $47.
and winnie got one too.

god knows why i'm so into rebecca minkoff bags.
seriously, i don't see myself stopping at my second one.



the one i got this time is the popular morning after mini satchel bag [MAM].
this is 20% smaller than the original morning after bag [mab].

she has got such a variety of colours, hardwares and textures that it was really hard to decide which to get [first].
i settled for the most basic black with light gold hardware eventually after reading a comment on purseforum that said " just like how every girl needs a little black dress, every girl needs a black bag."

sold!
TOTALLY sold!
so this baby was soon on its way to my place.
i couldn't wait, so i opted for the fastest shipping option available and i got it 3 days after ordering it online.

the leather is very buttery and smells like ...mm.. leather.
hahaha!
i love everything about the mam except for its weight.
it's a little heavy.

check out the bright blue zipper tape.
it adds a fun touch to the bag!
and the zippers come with unfinished tassels.




the flap at the front has this hidden pocket.




a look at the interior.
the mam has a few compartments in it which makes your bag organised.
it even has this ring that you can hook your keys to.

the lining for mine is called the dash lining.
every season or something, rebecca minkoff changes the lining of her bags.
and every bag comes with a dustbag of the same print as the bag's lining.
