i spent the day with muay fan and we went shopping and movies.

anyway, the movie is literally so so with its fair share of touching moments.

i teared like hell.
almost on the verge of just crying out loud.

it isn't because the movie was that touching.
it's because..

there is this ah ma who acted as the mother.
and i couldn't stand the scene when she got all ill and had to rely on this walking stick.

it was that walking stick which made me tear like mad,
for a good whole 5 minutes.

that was the exact same kind my late ah ma used.
seriously.. whenever i come across old folks using them now,
我就会不知觉得想起她, 然后泪水就在我眼眶里打转.

好了.. 不说这个了.

recently 老娘has ventured into the tinted moisturizer segment.

for those who have no clue what a tinted moisturizer is,
it's basically a day moisturizer which moisturizes and gives u a certain degree of coverage as well.
so it's like a sunscreen, moisturizer, foundation all in one, provided it has spf stated on it.

super 方便 for lazy bums like me!!
just slap one thing one your face and tada!
all ready to go out.
totally ideal!

anyhow, i've tried za one which i think is too watery and not even moisturizing to speak of.
benefit's yourebel lite is plunging straight into the bin because it is far too gao and coverage is close to zero.

i still 舍不得 use the laurier mercier one that i've gotten.
hence, currently using the bobbi brown sample that the super nice MA gave me.

and let me tell you.
bobbi brown one turned out to be..

值得！

it provides not bad coverage, and gives you a dewy finish.
super fabulous because your skin now looks more doi doi/ supple/ bouncy.

honestly.
matt means nothing to me now.
i DON'T want matt look.
i want DEWY look.

anyhow, the moral of the story is i strongly recommend bobbi brown's tinted moisturizer!

but.
at the same time, i am hoping that the laurier mercier one would turn out to be a even bigger pleasant surprise when i start using it.

some of my colleagues were heading for an event at the museum after work tonight.

i recently bought 4 mac blushes online.
those that are from the sonic collection.
muay fan and it decided that we can't wait for the collection to be launched in sg, so that explains our purchases of over 200usd on a particular website called nordstrom.

this got to be one of the best shopping site i've come across so far.
very efficient and relatively cheaper than buying stuff from sg.

because of nordstrom, i've decided to get at least one blush mosaic and a tinted moisturizer from laurier mercier in msia.
the blusher mosaic is like a must have!
so damn chio~~~

lastly, 老娘figured out how to load videos onto her itouch, with xf's help of course..
hence.. is now loving her itouch even more.

have chosen 2 out of 3 pieces for my grade 3 kid next yr.
i'm like quite surprised that the syllabus actually has this piece by a hong kong composer.
and it's very chinese.

perhaps should choose that piece coz most likely the ang mo examiner wouldn't be that familiar with it.
right?
i mean as compared to one that is composed by mozart, schubert, debussy, bach?

if you ever want to buy mac brushes,
i suggest that those brushes that are individually sold are more worth it than those sold in sets.

yes.
no doubt those in sets are cheaper,
but they are also of poorer quality.
because they are mass produced in factory, while those sold individually are handmade.

i can 'testify' for this because i've got the exact same brushes.
one from set, one bought individually.
this also means that i got cheated in a way.

i was on this crowded train and saw this girl who was carrying that black netted mphosis bag that i have.

fyi: it's somewhat a see through bag.

oh gosh.
that girl stuffed her jacket, her office wear looking blouse and pouches all into the bag.
i mean.. STUFFED and DUMPED.

sorry for being mean.
i just can't stand girls who openly show that they are untidy.

i'm not saying i'm anywhere near being tidy, but at least do it discreetly.
if you've got a normal opaque bag, it can be all messy and stuff, but at least nobody will know that unless you leave your bag wide enough to be seen.

老娘 so happen to make sure my bag is tidy no matter whether it's opaque or what so ever.
